Beginning in 2013, NMHG’s Supply Chain organization launched a new Rotational Program to find and develop the talent of the future.

We are looking for emerging professionals who want to develop a firm foundation in Supply Chain and to take part in our rotational program.

Candidates must have a degree in Supply Chain Management (or equivalent), exhibit leadership skills through involvement in

various activities and must be a US citizen or permanent resident. Successful applicants will be given opportunity to work in two of three key operations located within the US:

1. Demand Planning 2. Procurement 3. Order Management

Additionally, there may be an optional rotation that may be deemed necessary after the completion of the two mandatory rotations.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

To be successful in this demanding program, you will need to demonstrate initiative, resilience, leadership and the ability to summarize key issues, while having a firm grasp on detail.

You will also require exceptional analytical skills, not just to process and integrate data, but to recognize, propose and implement improvements.

The expectations vary between roles, but as a guide, here is what we are looking for from all of our graduates.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT

From day one you will be given realresponsibility, but you will not be leftunsupported.

In your initial assignment, you will be placed in Demand Planning. The purpose of the role is to prepare and distribute accurate, timely delivery information to our plants and other internal customers.

You will be part of the team which provides macro-analytical support, coordinates delivery of product and interacts with suppliers to provide accurate information to our plants.

You will be required to show exceptional analytical skills, not just to process and integrate data, but to recognize and propose improvements and implement them if approved.

During the rotation, you will be working in a very visible role and will interact with

various departments within Supply Chain and NMHG. This initial role will be key in developing the fundamental skills needed for Supply Chain. This role will help you understand the needs of the plant and will engage your critical thinking skills as you support the plant.

Strong attention to detail is required, as you will be tasked to

• Measure, monitor and improve on- time supplier shipments

• Analyze various reports to identify what is critical and report issues on a daily/weekly basis

• Manage inventory and minimize inventory carrying costs.

SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST II

Rotation 2

In this role, you will be working with Procurement to assist the team in achieving the strategic objectives of the organization. You will also be involved in many key supply chain projects.

NMHG has suppliers worldwide and the procurement coordinator will interact with many of those suppliers. As a Supply Chain Specialist II, you will be responsible for:

• Managing pricing agreements while working with Global Commodity Teams.

• Interface with Accounts Payable and Suppliers to resolve pricing/ invoice discrepancies.

• Conduct analytics of commodity prices to assist team in formulation of pricing structures. • Work with Commodity Managers

to rationalize current and future supply base.

• Providing necessary analysis and assistance to support global procurement initiatives.

As you support the activity of the Procurement team, it will require you to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as you will need to communicate with a wide range of people, from suppliers to senior members of the team.

It will also require you to have strong analytical skills that enable you to focus on details and provide recommendations and solutions to the problems.

This role will provide a platform for a longer- term role in Procurement as it helps build your analytical and strategic thinking as well as improve your overall business acumen.

SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST III

Rotation 3

In this exciting role, you will function as an Order Management Specialist and will quickly become a key interface with our dealers as you focus on problem solving and implementation of resolutions.

In this role, you will be required to:

• Manage daily order slotting activity

• Maintain build and clear schedules and availability

• Establish and update option usage percentage based on Sales & Order Process (S&OP)

This role provides insight to our dealer network and requires you to manage various issues while working within a build schedule and supplier lead times. Strong communication skills are required for this job.

If there is a business or development need, you will be placed in an optional rotation where you will function as a special projects coordinator. In this role, you will be asked to lead special projects that are time-sensitive and impactful to the Supply Chain organization. You will be required to use all the skills previously mentioned, as well as use the knowledge and experience you gained from your previous job assignments.

The Special Projects Coordinator may also be involved in leading Value Stream Mapping or Six Sigma Projects. As a participant or leader of these project teams, you will be responsible for reporting the outcome as well as recommendations to Senior Leadership.
