Welcome to EBSCO’s NetLibrary Download Manager tutorial. NetLibrary offers the most comprehensive collection of eBooks, eJournals and eAudiobooks available online. NetLibrary’s Download Manager lets you

easily manage your eAudiobook downloads, provides one-click transferring to your portable device, and allows you to play eAudiobooks with Windows Media Player or iTunes. In this tutorial, we will look at

downloading and using basic features of Download Manager, downloading eAudiobooks with Download Manager, as well as renewing expired eAudiobook licenses.

Begin by logging in to NetLibrary. On the home screen, click on the Download Options Banner found below the Basic Search box.

The Download Options page is displayed. Select the radio button next to Download Manager. Click Download application now. Note: To view the system requirements for Download Manager and compare its features with

those of the other download options, click the Learn More link in the Download Manager box.

The Download Manager Installer will launch. Click Run. Follow the installer instructions. When your download is complete, a NetLibrary Download Manager icon will appear on your desktop. Open Download Manager at any

time by clicking on this icon.

To checkout an eAudiobook, log in to NetLibrary. Conduct a search or browse through NetLibrary’s eContent to find an eAudiobook you wish to download. From the Results List, click on the Download this eAudiobook link

below the listing you choose.

You will be prompted to select a destination for your eAudiobook: My Computer or My Portable Device. Choose a destination and you will receive confirmation that your eAudiobook has been successfully checked out. Click

Download the eAudiobook to complete your download. Your eAudiobook will automatically download and open Download Manager.

The left panel of the Download Manager window organizes your eAudiobooks into the folders Books Pending Download, Checked out Books, and Expired Books. Expand any of these folders to access your eAudiobooks.

After selecting an eAudiobook, you can use the center buttons to Transfer to Portable, Play Title, or Delete Title.

Basic information about the eAudiobook, its compatibility information, and the end of its checkout period are displayed. Click Additional Detail to display its ISBN and Product ID numbers.

In the Options dropdown menu, click File Storage Location to display the location of your downloaded eAudiobook files. Click Updates to install Download Manager software updates.

In the Help dropdown menu, click Help to access NetLibrary’s online Help page. Click About Download Manager to display information about Download Manager.

To renew an expired license on NetLibrary, log in to your account at the NetLibrary website. Click on the Checked Out Items link in the top right corner of the page. This displays your checked-out titles. Find the

eAudiobook title you wish to renew and click on the Download this eAudiobook link. Click on the Renew your Checkout link . Your license is renewed and you can listen to your eAudiobook during the checkout period. You

may now also transfer the eAudiobook to your portable device. Note: First delete the eAudiobook from your portable device before transferring it again.
