P ereKonomian nasional di selenggarakan berdasarkan azas demokrasi dengan prinsip kebersamaan, efisiensi, berkeadilan, berkelanjutan, berwawasan lingkungan, kemandirian, serta dengan menjaga keseimbangan kemajuan dan kesatuan ekonomi nasional”, undang-undang no 39 tahun 2014 tentang Perkebunan, menyebutkan bahwa

Perkebunan diselenggarakan atas azas manfaat dan berkelanjutan, keterpaduan, kebersamaan, keterbukaan, serta berkeadilan. Pada pasal 62 disebutkan bahwa (1) Pengembangan Perkebunan diselenggarakan secara berkelanjutan dengan memperhatikan aspek ekonomi, sosial budaya dan ekologi. Pengembangan Perkebunan berkelanjutan sebagaimana dimaksud ayat (1) harus memenuhi prinsip dan kriteria pembangunan Perkebunan berkelanjutan.

Hal ini menunjukan bahwa indonesia merupakan produsen CPo terbesar dunia dan memberikan kontribusi devisa paling besar diantara komoditas pertanian indonesia. Konsekuensi indonesia sebagai produsen minyak sawit terbesar nomor satu di dunia adalah meredam berbagai isu negatif yang terkait dengan industri kelapa sawit di indonesia. Pada tahun 2011 pemerintah indonesia melalui Peraturan menteri Pertanian meluncurkan Pengembangan

Kelapa sawit Berkelanjutan indonesia/Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (isPo), untuk menjawab tuntutan produksi minyak sawit berkelanjutan dari konsumen, industri, pembeli dan stakeholder perkelapasawitan, serta untuk berperan dalam pelestarian lingkungan dan dalam rangka memenuhi komitmen Presiden republik indonesia untuk mengurangi efek gas rumah kaca.

diproduksi di eropa, saat ini isPo terbukti telah diakui oleh World Trade Center (Wto) serta rsPo indonesia menyatakan bahwa pemegang sertifikat isPo akan diberikan kemudahan untuk mendapatkan sertifikat rsPo karena keduanya saling melengkapi dalam bisnis kelapa sawit dunia.

indonesia boleh berbangga karena saat ini indonesia adalah satu-satunya negara di dunia yang mewajibkan sertifikasi Sustainable Palm Oil. meski telah bersifat wajib namun perusahaan perkebunan sawit pemegang sertifikat isPo pada bulan Januari 2017 baru 226 perusahaan dengan luas 1,4 juta ha dan produksi CPo 6,7 juta ton. angka tersebut baru mencapai 14,1% dari total 1.601 perusahaan yang terdata wajib isPo.

sistim sertifikasi isPo yang bersifat mandatory dan kondisi adanya desakan khususnya dengan pembubaran iPoP, serta dalam rangka penguatan sistem sertifikasi isPo, Kementerian Koordinasi Bidang Perekonomian melakukan rapat koordinasi bersifat diskusi terbuka tentang “Penguatan isPo sebagai satu-satunya standar perkebunan Kelapa sawit indonesia yang berkelanjutan”. diskusi tersebut berkesimpulan pemerintah akan melakukan kebijakan penguatan mengenai isPo.

EConomY National was held based on the principle of democracy with the principles of togetherness, efficiency, justice, sustainability and environmental friendliness, independence, and balancing progress and national economic unity “, ACT No. 39 of 2014 on Plantations, said that the plantation was organized on the principle of benefit

and sustainable development, cohesion, togetherness, openness, and fairness. In Article 62 states that (1) Plantation Development held in a sustainable manner by taking into account economic, social, cultural and ecological. Sustainable plantation development referred to in paragraph (1) shall meet the principles and criteria of sustainable plantation development.

Supply of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) from Indonesia into the world reaches 44% or surpass Malaysia which only reached 41%. This shows that Indonesia is the world’s largest CPO producer and foreign exchange contributed the largest among agricultural commodities Indonesia. Consequences of Indonesia as the largest palm oil producer in the world, number one, is drown out various negative issues associated with palm oil industry in Indonesia. In 2011 the Indonesian government through the Minister of Agriculture launched the development of sustainablity palm oil in Indonesia / Indonesian Sustainability Palm Oil (ISPO), to answer the

demands of sustainable palm oil production from consumers, industry, buyers and stakeholders palm oil, as well as to play a role in preserving the environment and in order fulfill the commitment of the President of Indonesia to reduce the greenhouse gas effect.

Indonesia has continued to promote the ISPO in the international community, particularly the European Union and to lobby for the elimination of discrimination palm oil to

other vegetable oils produced in Europe, is currently ISPO proved to have been recognized by the World Trade Center (WTO) as well as the RSPO Indonesia stated that the certificate holder ISPO will be given the ease of obtaining RSPO certification because they complement each other in the oil palm business world.

Indonesia should be proud because this time Indonesia is the only country in the world that has been required certification Sustainable Palm Oil. Although it has to be mandatory but the certificate holder oil palm plantation company in January 2017 ISPO new 226 companies with vast 1.4 million hectares and 6.7 million tons of CPO production. The figure reached 14.1% of the total 1,601 companies recorded mandatory ISPO.

ISPO certification system that is mandatory and conditions of their insistence in particular with IPOP dissolution, and in order to strengthen the ISPO certification system, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs held a coordination meeting is an open discussion on “Strengthening the ISPO as the only standard oil palm plantation Indonesia sustained “.
