Hebrides Ensemble is a committed and versatile group of musicians, dedicated to performing, commissioning and creating new chamber music, music-theatre and small-scale opera for the enjoyment of all. We are passionate about good music and believe that you are too. We would like to invite you to become actively involved in our music and our work by joining a growing number of equally devoted individuals who generously support us and are prepared to help safeguard our future.

As a registered charity we strive to raise funds from a range of sources to allow us to achieve our vision and our varied programme of work. Over the next year this will involve no less than five world premieres and performances in venues throughout the country. The support we receive from individuals is vital to the continuation of this work. Our aspirations for the future are high and our programming and commissioning varied and ambitious.

We welcome you to join and share with us as we experience dynamic, thought-provoking and invigorating new music.

Supporting the diverse and unique In the last year alone we have performed side by side with such artists as Colin Currie, Claron McFadden, Andrew Kennedy, Roderick Williams, Elizabeth Watts and Llŷr Williams and performed a number of Scottish premieres, bringing rarely heard masterpieces from across the world to Scottish ears.

Your support will help us to — present exciting, diverse chamber

music and music-theatre productions— bring the highest standards of

performance to audiences in Scotland and throughout the UK

— perform rarely heard masterpieces that deserve wider audiences

— collaborate with eminent soloists and arts organisations

Investing in tomorrow’s talent This year we initiate a series of programmes and projects to support the next generation of composers and performers, closely linked to our performance programme. Our ambition is to uncover real talent, and nurture and challenge that talent in a supportive environment.

Your support will allow us to — become a resource for young musicians

at the start of their careers — create essential working relationships

to offer essential learning opportunities — offer a platform and generate profile

for the next generation of talented musicians
