CUGH supports academic institutions and partners to improve the wellbeing of people and the planet through education, research, service, and advocacy. It is also one of the health professionals training colleges under the Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM). Saint John of God College of Health Sciences

Saint John of God College is part of Saint John of God Hospitaller Services in Malawi. The College offers four academic programmes which are af-filiated to Mzuzu University and the University of Malawi. The college is under the proprietorship of Saint John of God Hospitaller Brothers of the Roman Catholic Church.
