HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Inhalation: Not a foreseeable hazard as supplied, but inhalation of high concentrations of dust during sanding of cured product will ultimately damage the respiratory system. Skin Contact: There may be a slight drying effect on the skin if exposure is sustained. Eye contact: May cause discomfort in contact with eyes. Ingestion: Ingestion of very large amounts may cause discomfort and upset the digestive system. 4. FIRST AID MEASURES INHALATION: Clear airway if obstructed. SKIN CONTACT: Wash area with plenty soap and water. Do not allow to dry on skin, apply moisturising cream as necessary.. EYE CONTACT: Flush out eyes with clean water, whilst lifting the eyelids, continue for 15 minutes or until the irritation subsides. Seek medical help if irritation persists. INGESTION: If swallowed, wash out mouth with water. No treatment normally appropriate. Cont.

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES General: A non-flammable mixture Extinguishing Media: Suitable extinguishing media for the surrounding fire should be used. Use water spray to cool containers. Exposure hazards: None Protection of Fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal protection: Refer to section 8 Environmental Precautions: Although this product is not classified as harmful to the environment prevent spills from

entering the drains and watercourses. If small amounts enter watercourses it is unlikely to cause any harm, all incidents of large amounts should be reported to the local or national environmental authorities. See Section 13 for disposal considerations.

Methods for cleaning and Taking up: Scrape up spillages into waste container but will subsequently set as hard material. Wash any

remaining residues away with soapy water, avoiding contamination of drains or any watercourses.

7.HANDLING AND STORAGE HANDLING: No special precautions necessary. Refer to section 8 for PPE Observe good housekeeping practice Keep workplace well ventilated. STORAGE: Where possible keep in original container. Store between +5° and +35°C protected from frost

and direct sunlight. Do not store large buckets more than 4 high to avoid collapse. 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION Advice on system design: The use of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) should be considered if large volumes of dust

is produced in the working environment. Workplace Exposure Limit: (only if sanding cured product) 8Hour TWA 10mg/m3 Inhalable 4mg/m3 Respirable Personal Protective Equipment: Respiratory protection: Dust mask should be worn if sanding the cured material. Hand protection: Ideally rubber or PVC gloves should be worn by personnel with sensitive skin when

handling uncured product. Eye protection: not normally required Hygiene measures: Do not eat, drink or smoke when handling product. 9. 10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY Stability: Stable material. Will set hard when exposed to air. Conditions to avoid: Frost and heat Hazardous decomposition products: None 11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION This product is essentially NON TOXIC and no serious chronic effects have been evident from handling under Normal use. Acute Effects Eye Contact – No effects expected in normal use Skin Contact - The mixture may cause irritant contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis to personnel with sensitive skin. Ingestion - The swallowing of small amounts is unlikely to cause any significant reaction. Larger amounts may result in

irritation to the gastro intestinal tract. Inhalation- The powder created when sanding dry product may cause inflammation of mucous membranes. Chronic Effects. None Expected

12.ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION Environmental Mobility: This substance is Miscible in water. Bioaccumulation: Not expected to bio-accumulate Ecotoxicity: The addition of small amounts of this substance into watercourses will not adversely affect the quality, however addition of large amounts may cause the pH to rise and may therefore be toxic to aquatic life in some circumstances. 13.DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS The following advice only applies to the product as supplied. Combination with other materials may well indicate another route of disposal. If in doubt, contact local authorities. Do not dispose of via drains or sewers. Dispose of as non hazardous industrial waste in cured state. All waste water containing emulsions must be pre-treated before discharge into sewer or open water. Ultra –filtration, coagulation/settling or floatation processes are suitable. Existing EC, National and Local Regulations must always be complied with, if in doubt contact local Environmental Agency for advice. 14.TRANSPORT INFORMATION This product is not classified as Dangerous for Carriage.

15. REGULATORY INFORMATION The information contained in this data sheet is provided in accordance with the requirements of the UK Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations and the Safety Data Sheets Directive (91/155/EEC as amended by Directives 93/112.EC and 2001/58/EC. This product has been classified and labelled in accordance with the UK Approved Classification and Labelling Guide which is based on Commission Directive 2001/59/EC which sets out Annex VI to the Dangerous Substances Directive 67/548/EEC and The Dangerous Preparations Directive (1999/45/EC) as amended. The purpose of Annex VI is to provide a harmonised basis for the classification and labelling of dangerous substances and preparations in Member States. No specific labelling required according to Directive 1999/45/EC Users of this product are reminded of their duties under the current Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations and a suitable and sufficient assessment of all the risk should be undertaken before using this product. The guidelines given in the HSE publication COSHH ESSENTIALS - Easy Steps To Control Chemicals gives sound advice for deciding safe working control measures. 16.
