Flyboard is a product of a company named ‘ZAPATA RACING®’. The company started to develop the Flyboard during Spring 2011. It combines the love of water, adventure, flight and fun. A complete Flyboard Pro Rider kit costs around US$ 5850 and contains 1 board, 1 pair of wakeboard-style boots, 1 rotation system, 1 large hose, 1 180°, 1 nozzle and 1 180° elbow coupling. The Flyboard goes up to 40 feet in the air, can hold weights up to 136 kgs and go up to speeds of 25 to 35 kmph.

According to the singularity, accessibility and the ease of use of the Flyboard, the public as well as the media has made the Flyboard the new extreme sport phenomenon. And as evidence, after only a year and a half marketing development, more than 2500 Flyboards are in circulation.
