The optimum patient positioning for shoulder arthroscopy should enhance intraoperative joint visualization and surgical accessibility while minimizing potential operative risk to the patient. Most shoulder arthroscopy procedures can be reliably performed with the patient either in the lateral decubitus or beach

chair position. Top Shelf Orthopedics has developed soft goods to assist surgeons and their staff with proper shoulder positioning for either the lateral decubitus or beach chair approach to shoulder arthroscopy. If you chose to use a

standard pulley system, lateral traction, distal traction, or suspension traction device, Top Shelf Orthopedics has you covered with sterile traction soft goods.

Standard Sleeve with StrapsSterile packaged full arm convoluted foam sleeve. Designed with 5circumferential hook and loop straps to secure the sleeve to the patientarm. It is packaged with a sterile “S” hook to attach to a weight cable or traction device as well as to assist with abduction of the arm during thesurgical procedure. It comes with a rotation control strap designed to be used with the 3-Point Shoulder Distraction System or Lateral Decubitus Shoulder Traction Tower. Can be trimmed to length.

It comes with a rotation control strap designed to be used with the 3-Point Shoulder Distraction System or Lateral Decubitus Shoulder Traction Tower. Can be trimmed to length.

Traction SleeveSterile packaged is a 34” fabric sleeve that has a non-slip silicone strip sewn along the inner surface to aid with grip and reduce slipping duringsurgery. It is packaged with a self-adhering wrap to secure the sleeve to the patient and to prevent the sleeve from sliding down the arm duringsurgery. A length of rope and “S” hook is provided to attach to a weight cable or traction device as well as to assist with abduction of the arm during the surgical procedure. A radial nerve pad is included to prevent injury to the nerves in the wrist when the sleeve is secured. Designed to be used with the 3-Point Shoulder Distraction System or Lateral Decubitus Shoulder Traction Tower.

Shoulder HolderSterile packaged foam forearm sleeve that is secured to a rigid metal plate designed to connect to the TRIMANO® Fortis support arm. It is packaged with a self-adhering wrap to secure the foam to the patient arm andrestrict slipping during the surgical procedure. Sterile drape is providedthat �ts both adapters of the TRIMANO® system. The shoulder holder is equipped with a foam padded hand hold post which assist with proper positioning of the hand and reduces rotation while providing nerve protection.
