Survey Results of the 2020 Community Development, Housing, and Homeless Priorities Survey for 2020-2024 HUD Consolidated Plan

• In January and February 2020, City staff held four City hosted Consolidated Plan Community Outreach meetings and attend four community-hosted meetings

• A community survey was made available at these meetings, at City Hall, the Escondido Library, the Park Avenue Community Center, and on-line (in English and in Spanish)

• Multiple community needs were presented and respondents were asked to rank them by greatest need

• Seventy-four surveys were returned

• Responses were tallied and analyzed to determine highest identified priority needs

• Comments made at community meetings were used to determine the City’s greatest needs for the Consolidated Plan, but are not included in these survey results
