Coordinated and supervised a three-year study of the effects of determinate

sentencing in North Carolina. Designed the data collection instruments, trained and

supervised data collectors, conducted all data management and statistical analyses,

and co-authored the two-volume final report.

procedural justice, investigating preferences and perceptions of different adjudicatory

procedures. A second area of interest was developmental psychology, which involved
