What is Mental Fitness?
“This balance consists of the following 10 mental
skills/characteristics: emotional
intelligence, knowledge, discretion, awareness, intuition, honesty
, selflessness, inspiration (dreams/vision), discipline/self-control
and courage” (Crossfusion Human and Fitness, n.d.)
CREATIVE WELLNESS
“It appears that these fields are able to stimulate an injury
repair process within the body, whose messages are carried
through the perineural system and the connective tissue
matrix” (Durham, 2011).
In reference to the electromagnetic field in our body that is
activated by all areas in a persons life.

How does good mental health improve physical health?
• “People with problems coping with their anger or aggravation
were found to be at ten times heightened risk for future heart
arrhythmias than those without such anger problems”
(Psych Central, 2012).

According to a study at East Carolina in 2011
• “Among participants who were depressed, individuals who
played casual games like Bejeweled Blitz demonstrated an
average 57 percent reduction in symptoms” (Ayers, 2011).

A diet high in antioxidants will help prevent damage to
cells in the body
This includes foods high in vitamin C and E, magnesium
and zinc

Even just walking 2 hours a week can provide benefits
“Exercise enhances memory and improves thinking”
(Stibich, 2012).

“Research has shown the remaining engaged in cognitive
activities will help to prevent memory loss” (Stibich, 2012).
Although this option is not a better option than physical
exercise, it will still produce benefits

your physical health
Knowing how to access the deepest part of your mind to
access the innermost healing powers
Doing activities and exercises to improve mental fitness
takes practice and dedication
