“Bin the Bin”

• replace the standard desk-side bins used by each employee with recycling points, close to each set of desks

• Staff and students need to make a little more effort to dispose of rubbish

• When staff take time to walk short distance to the bin they are more likely to sort the waste correctly

• At other organisations “Bin the Bin” has produced a 10% improvement in recycling,

• Recycling waste is removed free by local authorities, landfill costs us between £80 and £180 a tonne disposal
