October Wine Tasting

Wine Tasting at Sharpe Hill was such a good time. We were a small group (6) and were able to really talk, laugh, snack and sip wine in a cozy atmosphere. Being at the vineyard during the leaf peeping season, the vineyard was very busy serving meals (reservation only) and doing wine tasting. We arrived before the bigger crowd and found a table perfect for our group. The service was superb, along with beautiful grounds and a rustic atmosphere indoors. The fireplace kept us cozy on the windy cool afternoon. It is certainly worth the 45 minute drive to experience this first class winery! These photos were taken by Estelle Ford and me.

Once a Victorian era decoration, these hanging globes of fresh, fragrant greens, white-tipped pinecones, glass balls, twig and ribbons now deck halls and porches across America. Put it where your hanging basket used to be, or hang it inside, tuck a bit of mistletoe in it and see what happens. Approx. 18 inches across. Once again, Tina Bemis leads the class (www.bemisfarmsnursery.com)
