Natasha Rose Kessenich and Jona-than Gehlbach exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 21, 2013, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton, Wis. Monsignor Douglas Dushack officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Kessenich of Mid-dleton.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gehlbach of Dixon.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, David Kessenich.

She wore a Maggie Sottero, ivory, form-fitting gown embellished with corded lace in the bodice, a skirt of voluminous tulle, sweetheart neck-line, Swarovski crystals, and a cor-set back closure. Her bouquet was ivory freesia, garden roses, regular roses, and spider mums.

The matrons of honor were Caris-sa Fritz of Middleton, sister of the bride, and Danielle Rodgers of Denver, friend of the bride.

Serving as bridesmaids were Katie Janaszek of Mountain View, Calif.; Courtney Gerges of Baton Rouge, La.; and Carolyn Becker of Osh-kosh, Wis., all friends of the bride; and Emily Vivian of Chatham, sis-ter of the groom.

The bride’s attendants wore navy, floor-length, strapless gowns with crisscross, shirred bodices and side-draped, A-line skirts. Their bouquets were roses, carnations, freesia, and lavender spider mums.

The best men were Thomas Gehl-bach, brother of the groom, and Benjamin Appenheimer, cousin of the groom, both of Dixon.

Serving as groomsmen were Ben-jamin Farley of Denver, Adam Love of Dixon, and Joseph Hester

of Raleigh, N.C., all friends of the groom; and William Reigle of Chi-cago, cousin of the groom.

The bride’s personal attendant was her aunt, Nancy Ripp of Mid-dleton.

Ushering the event were Nicholas Fritz of Middleton, brother-in-law of the bride; Jeremy Vivian of Cha-tham, brother-in-law of the groom; and Mathew French of Nashville, Tenn., and Gregory Jereb of Grand Rapids, Mich., both friends of the groom.

The flower girl was Brooklyn Fritz of Middleton, niece of the bride.

Serving as ring bearers were Gavin Fritz of Middleton, nephew of the bride, and Henry Vivian of Chatham and Cyrus Gehlbach of Dixon, both nephews of the groom.

Musical selections included “How Can I Tell You” on the gui-tar, played by Tim Appenheimer of Dixon, uncle of the groom.

A reception was at The Legend at Bergamont.

The bride earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Edgewood College. She is a reg-istered nurse at American Family Children’s Hospital, University of Wisconsin, in Madison, Wis.

The groom earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of North Carolina and his medical degree at the University of Illinois. He is chief resident, pediatrics, at American Family Children’s Hos-pital, University of Wisconsin, in Madison.

The couple took a delayed honey-moon in January to St. Lucia.

They reside in Madison, but in July will relocate to Durham, N.C.

The groom is the son of Gordon Decker and Donna Wolf.

The maid of honor was Kelcie Hohlen, sister of the bride. The matron of honor was Trinette Deck-er, sister-in-law of the groom.

The bridesmaids were Brianne Hamstra, friend of the bride; and Laurel and Danielle Decker, sisters-in-law of the groom.

The best men were Ryan, Nate, and Matt Decker, brothers of the groom.

The groomsmen were Eric DeBo-er, friend of the groom, and Chase Hohlen, brother of the bride. Serv-ing as junior groomsman was Pay-

ton Decker, nephew of the groom.Ushering the event were Travis

Howell and Matt Jones, friends of the groom. The bride’s personal attendant was Gwen Wiemken, friend of the bride.

Serving as flower girl was Reece Decker, niece of the groom. Serving as ring bearers were Chase, Lane, and Luke Decker, nephews of the groom.

The reception was at the Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Clinton, Iowa, hosted by Kevin and Rhonda Conk-len and Keith and Stacy Conklen, aunts and uncles of the bride.

The bride and groom are gradu-ates of Morrison High School and Sauk Valley Community College. The bride is employed at CGH Medi-cal Center, as a registered nurse. The groom is employed by Crawford Co., as a plumber.

The couple reside in Morrison.

Dennis were united in marriage Dec. 14, 2013, in the parlor of the Lincoln-Manahan Home in Ster-ling, officiated by Judge Michael Albert.

The bride’s sister, Cheryl Rob-inson, was matron of honor, and Harold Palmer, friend of the cou-ple, served as best man.

Tim Tedrick, friend of the cou-ple, escorted the bride into the parlor, as his wife, Mary Lynn, played a pump organ, which belonged to the bride’s grand-mother. Abraham Lincoln spent the night in the parlor of the Manahan Home in 1856.

A luncheon was held at Martin’s Steakhouse.

The bride is retired from Sterling Unit 5, where she was a music teacher.

The groom is retired from Key-stone Steel and Wire.

The bride-elect is a 2007 gradu-ate of Dixon High School, a 2009 graduate of Sauk Valley Commu-nity College and a graduate of Judson University, with a Bach-elor of Arts degree in psychology. She will graduate in May 2014 with a master’s degree in social work. She is employed at Family Video.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Bel-videre High School. He served in the Army from February 2010 until August 2013. He is attending Rock Valley College, majoring in criminal justice. He is employed by GameStop.

The couple are planning a June 28, 2014 wedding.

Dave Rodekamp and Ruth Peo-ples were united in marriage April 6, 1974, at the Milledgeville Breth-ren Church in Milledgeville. The marriage was performed by Dave and Ruth’s brother-in-law, the Rev. Thomas Babler.

Ankeny, Iowa, Jamie (Tom) Rich-ards of Bloomington, and Travis Rodekamp of Sterling.

They have seven granddaugh-ters, Lizzie, Cara, Kennedi, Eden, Emilee, Claire, and Charlee.

Jeff Neubauer and Mary Sue Farley were married March 18, 1989, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sterling. Jeff is the son of Jo Ellen and Darrell (deceased) Neubauer. Mary Sue is the daughter of Susan and Kenneth “Pat” Farley (both deceased).

They are the proud parents of Bre-anna Neubauer of Richmond, Ill.; Drew Neubauer, who attends the University of Wisconsin in Platte-ville, Wis.; and Nate Neubauer, who lives at home.

Jeff is a Math Teacher and Coach at Sterling High School, and Mary Sue is the Early Childhood Teacher at Whiteside Area Career Center in Sterling.

They have six grandchildren, Shawna (Wyatt) Berogan, Chad
