They had three sons, William, who died in infancy; Neal (Mary Jo Bick-ford) Bressler; and Lyle (Bette Wil-son) Bressler.

He has five grandchildren, Bar-bara Bressler – (Thomas Robbins), Beth Bressler – (John Metzler), Scott

Bressler, Mark (Emily Nunemaker) Bressler, and Michael (Bev Good) Bressler.

He has eight great-grandchil-dren, Drew Marnaca, Alex Rob-bins, August “AJ” Metzler, Kathrine Metzler, Jessica Bressler, Brandon Bressler, Wilson Bressler, and Jack-son Bressler; and one great-great-grandson, Hunter Haut.

Abby Faith Johnson and Andrew Lee Sturtevant were united in mar-riage at 5 p.m. on June 22, 2013, at the Chicago Cultural Center. Pastor John Sgro officiated the ceremony.

The couple are the children of Michael and Dawn Johnson of Chadwick and Steven and Patricia Sturtevant of Shannon. They are the grandchildren of Ed and Inez Meier, the late Dwight and Mar-cella Johnson, Robert and Donna Schriner, and Ronnie and Donna Sturtevant.

The couple held a double-ring ceremony under the Tiffany dome in the original city of Chicago library. Music was provided by Kimberly Riley, Josh Riley, and Julie Woessner. Carlee Tessendorf, who introduced the couple, gave the readings.

The bride wore a strapless dropped waist bodice organza and tulle ball gown with a sweetheart neckline, organza petals cascading down the train, sash, and a cathe-dral veil – complete with blush pink heels. She carried pink peonies, white hydrangea, and white roses, representing the first flower the groom gave her.

Brooke Johnson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. The bridesmaids included Kari Ottens, Anna Adolph, Caitlin Ash, Rachel Kindred, Laurel McCurry, Kelly

The best man was Ryan Martz. The groom’s party included Nolan Sorg, Brian Szajna, Matthew DeMarais, Mark Wershay, Aubrey Vojack, Alicia Sturtevant, and Josh-ua Johnson.

Ushers included Christopher Meier, Christopher Vojack, Mat-thew Huber, and Nathaniel Vos. Flower girl, Caela Vojack, niece of the groom, was escorted by ring bearer, Chase Vojack, nephew of the groom. Bart and Cindy Ottens served as hosts, and Jenna Chum-bley and Miranda Kindred were attendants.

A celebration of dinner and danc-ing immediately followed the cer-emony at the Chicago Cultural Center. The couple traveled to Lon-don and the Greek Islands for their honeymoon.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urba-na-Champaign and currently is employed as a communications manager for Deloitte. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Carroll Universi-ty and currently is employed as an infrastructure operations engineer at Sears Holdings.

The couple reside in Chicago.
