Hon‟ble Prime Minister of India gave a call for “Swachh Bharat‟ as

a mass movement to realize Mahatma Gandhi‟s dream of a Clean

India. Hon‟ble Prime Minister desired that a nationwide campaign be

organized with the participation of all sections of the society to bring

about mass awareness on cleanliness and the government officers

should also ensure participation in the cleaning of the government

offices and other places.

The intensive national cleanliness campaign started from 25th

September 2014. The Honourable Prime Minister said it is our social

responsibility as citizens of India to help fulfil Mahatma Gandhi’s vision

of Clean India, by His 150th birth anniversary in 2019.

Cleanliness Campaign “observe the

Swachhta Pakhwada in the mining

Area from 16 to 31st December 2018.

Mines Manager of Company, Mr. A. Gurubalasubramaniyan, Mr.

Janaki Ballav Mohapatra, Manager – HRD, Mr. Malikarajun, Project

Head, Mr. Amitav Mallick, AGM – environment, Mr. Dharamteja,

Environment Engineer and All the staff-members and students took

part in the cleanliness drive. Staff members made the cleanliness

program in village areas with cleaning of the water tankers, cleaning

of school premises, sanitation work i.e. spraying of the bleaching

powder, distribution of the soap, creation of awareness program

among school children and villagers.

And also as the part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan we are

conducted the training program for the villagers on Occupational

health & personal Hygenity Awareness program by Medical

superintendent at Unchabali medical Centre.

Swachhta Pakhwada as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan we

are celebrated in the Bamebari High school on the basis of the

program Head Master of Bamebari High School emphasized the

importance of the mission of “Swachh Bharat” to all the staff- members

and Students of Bamebari High School and hence made them aware

about the “Swachh Bharat” mass movement. As well the company is

distributed the sops and hand wash for the students and school staff

and we are done the plantation program in school premises.
