There is now only a little more than 13 weeks of actual school time for students completing Year 12 subjects. This means that many students are about to enter a period of time which can be a bit of an emotional “rollercoaster” as they finish what has been 13 years of schooling. For parents this period of time can also be a little confusing as we walk that fine line between pushing our children to achieve their best and making sure they are managing their stress. The best way to manage these things is to start revision early. In fact, students should be working out a revision plan now and starting to revise work from earlier in the year. Mid-Year Reports A mail out will be sent home during the last week of term. In that mail out will be a report on your child’s progress for the first six months of the year. I encourage parents to also use our Learning Management System (DayMAP) to access a more detailed summary of these results. If parents are having difficulty accessing the DayMAP portal, please contact the school.
