No Hat, Play in the Shade

It is no surprise that the Australian sun causes some of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world. Luckily students have been very proactive making sure they are wearing their hats whenever they are outside. BPS is a Sunwise School and it is that time of the year, when it is our policy to wear hats. Students who do not wear hats will be asked to stay under shelter, out of the sun and play in the shade. In keeping with out proud value we would love to see students bringing their hat to school and wearing it.

Life Education Van

Thank you to the Arnold family for delivering the Life Education van. Harold has now been and gone but his visit is always a highlight of Term 1.

Variation to Travel Routines

Please be mindful of notifying the office if you are varying your child/children's’ usual after school travel routine. Unless notified we will strictly adhere to normal arrangements. Our duty of care extends to ensuring your child/children get home safely each day.

Newsletters emailed

From this week we are going fully digital, sending out the school newsletter via email, placing it on Facebook, Seesaw and on the school website. Every family will have the newsletter emailed to the email address we have on file as of today. If you do not receive the email or you would like to change the address or opt out please contact the school.

Complaints

Just a little reminder that if at any time there is an issue with anyone or anything associated with the school please ensure you bring it to the immediate attention of the principal, in order for the matter to be resolved as quickly as possible.

My door is always open and I welcome the opportunity to work with the school community to build a strong culture of ongoing school improvement. We value what we have, a positive and harmonious work environment and we work hard to maintain a safe and supported place of learning for all. Please support us in our endeavours.

Free to a good home—last chance! BPS has a piano which we are happy to donate to someone who might like it and have a home for it! Please contact the school if that might be you or feel free to pass this information onto someone else.
