Rob MillsRob broke into musical theatre when cast in the role of ‘Fiyero’ in the original Australian production of Wicked. He has further played ‘Danny’ in a national tour of Grease, ‘Warner’ in Legally Blonde (all for GFO), The Last Five Years (nominated for Best Musical Production at 2012 Sydney Theatre Awards), and Hair.

Rob first came to the nation’s attention as a finalist on the first series of Australian Idol. Following this success and the national Idol Tour, he was signed to BMG. His first single ‘Ms Vanity’ debuted at #6 on the Australian charts, reaching Gold status. His debut album ‘Up All Night’ was released in June 2004, featuring seven co-written tracks.

Inspired by the “surprisingly good” reviews he managed to receive from both critics and audiences, Rob launched Rob Mills is Surprisingly Good to rave reviews during the 2015 cabaret season. Rob was host of 2012’s all-new Young Talent Time and has featured (as himself) in a myriad of shows from Celebrity Apprentice to Dirty Laundry Live, The Project, Dancing With The Stars, Spicks and Specks, Postcards and The Footy Show.

Most recently, Rob was cast in the lead role of ‘Sam’ in Ghost the Musical, a role made famous by Patrick Swazye in the 1990 hit feature film and will play the titular role in Jesus Christ Superstar for The Production Company.

Ben MingayAn actor, musician and international musical theatre performer, Ben graced our screens as ‘Trystan Powell’ in Home and Away after playing ‘Rob Duffy’ in three seasons of the Network 10 series Wonderland, and ‘Buzz’ in Network 7’s final series of Packed to the Rafters.

On the stage, Ben starred as ‘Zack Mayo’ in the world premiere production of An Officer and A Gentleman and received critical acclaim for his portrayal of ‘Tommy DeVito’ in the award-winning musical Jersey Boys at Sydney’s Theatre Royal - his first Australian performance since he originated the role of ‘Billy Kostecki’ in another world premiere, that of Dirty Dancing in 2004. Ben’s unique vocal ability won him that same role in every English-speaking production worldwide for almost six years, including the West End, Canada, Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles.

Originally a construction worker from Newcastle, Ben ‘fell’ into classical music when he was dared by his mates to audition for the Conservatorium of Music, Sydney. He subsequently won a scholarship and went on to train in Opera Voice for several years – a twist of fate that changed the trajectory of his life.

This year has seen Ben appear as ‘Grease Nolan’ in Mel Gibson’s AACTA & Academy Award-winning film, Hacksaw Ridge, on stage in Rolling Thunder Vietnam and as Alan Bond in House of Bond on the Nine Network.
