♣ In Ecuador there are different clothes forexample in the coast the people wear shorts,tops, shirts, sandals. But in the Sierra thepeople wear sweater, jacketed, boots, gloves,hat. In the Oriente is humid so the peoplewear light clothes and typical clothesdepending on their community.

Star like Ecuador at 5 years.

There are 12 years of school in total.

There are public and private school.

The school do not only teaches, also prepare

for life .

There are programs for clever students.

Students with problems in their studies are

placed in special classes to help them with

their academic problems.

There are many types education for children

less than five years, but the most important

are the "Child Care" regulated centers or

"Family Day Care" who are registered families

in homes that care for children.

The student goes to high school with 12/13

years (eighth year), and is compulsory until

year 10, receiving a certificate of junior high

school but not a Secondary Certificate.

The year 11 (15/16) and 12 (16/17 years), are

optional but are required to complete

successfully and get a high school diploma.

Some options for those students who drop in

year 10 include training, trainees to get to

work or to study a vocational course.

degree when finished year 13.

The result of the last two years of high school is the

most important. score "OP" (overall position) and

test called "QCS" (in Queensland) are taken each

year 12 in the state these tests serve them for

college levels.

The last two years they will choose what to study

depending on the career they try to follow. For

example, a student who wants to do Engineering in

University should choose subjects such as physics,

and mathematics instead of subjects such as

history, or biology.

In general the subjects are divided in letters such as

Math type A, B, C or names such as English

Executive (the most difficult) and English

Communication (easiest).

called ENES that allow them to enter

university. depending on the score will be

able to choose a career.

am to 3 pm, with breaks for lunch and breakfast.

there are also extra curricular activities like soccer,

dance classes. that are made after school or

Saturday morning.

schools but most students usually live around the

school so go walking or cycling.

The academic year coincides with the calendar year,

starting at the end of January and ending in

December.
