Roles and Responsibilities

Installation and configuration of Oracle 9i/10g for both Windows and Linux.

Monitoring the alert log and trace files to monitor the day-to-day DBA activities. Creation of test databases from production one.

Configuration of hot, cold and logical backup for databases on windows and Linux

involves multiple databases holding various operational details about Cargos, Liner details,

Transportation materials, customs clearance and warehouse details. Its a 24/7 availability

environment which primary provide the customers service teams around the globe with

the customer specific cargo status details to the end-users.
