Juicy Fruits

Summer is full juicy fruits

They come out with heavy roots

Juicy fruits make us strong

They make us healthy and live long.

Peach plum and grapes are sweet

Mango orange are lovely treat.

Hot Cross Buns

Hot cross buns! hot-cross buns!

One a penny, two a penny,

Hot-cross buns!

If you have no daughters,

Give them to your sons,

One a penny, two a penny

Hot-cross buns!

Jingle bells Jingle Bells

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!

O! what fun it is to ride,

In a one horse open sleigh, hey!

Dashing through the snow.

In a one horse open sleigh.

Over the fields we go,

Laughing all the way, hey!

Wee Willie Winkle

Wee Willie Winkle,

Runs through the town;

Upstairs and downstairs,

In his night gown.

Tapping at the window,

Crying through the lock;

“Are the children all in bed,

For its past 8 o’clock”.

Hop A Little

Hop a little, jump a little,

One, two, three;

Run alittle, skip a little,

Tap your knee;

Bend a little, stretch a little,

Nod your head;

Yawn a little, sleep a little,

In your bed.

Are you sleeping?

Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping?

Brother John, Brother John,

Morning bells are ringing,

Morning bells are ringing.

Ding dong bell, Ding dong bell.

Pussy-Cat

Pussy-cat, pussy-cat,

Where have you been?

“I’ve been to London,

To visit the queen”

Pussy-cat, pussy-cat,

What did you do their?

“I frightened a little mouse,

Under her chair”.

Clap Your Hands

Clap your hands, clap your hands,

Listen to the music and clap your hands.

Stamp your feet, stamp your feet,

Listen to the music and clap your hands.

Turn around, turn around,

Listen to the music and clap your hands.

Jump up high, jump up high,

Listen to the music and clap your hands.

Wave your hand, wave your hand,

Listen to the music and clap your hands.

Goosey Goosey Gander

Goosey, goosey, gander,

Where shall I wander?

Upstairs, downstairs,

In my lady’s chamber.

There I met an old man,

Who wouldn’t say his prayers,

I took him by his left leg,

And threw him down the stairs.

A Snowman

I am a snowman

Big and white

I stand in the snow

Day and night.

When it is cold

I stay all day

When it is warm

I melt away.

The Rain

Pitter-patter, raindrops,

Falling from the sky;

Here is my umbrella

To keep me safe and dry!

When the rain is over,

And the begins to glow,

Little flowers start to bud,

And grow and grow and grow!

A Bow In The Sky

Colours in it there are seven,

It looks like it has come from heaven.

Voilet, indigo, blue and green,

It has been brought by a fairy queen.

Yellow, orange and lovely red,

Across the sky it is spread.

Its quite high, its now low,

Yes, it is a lovely rainbow.

TALE TIME

The Thirsty Crow

A crow was there, looking for water everywhere.

Suddenly, a pitcher he saw, but the water level was low.

A few stones he brought dropped them in the pot.

The water came up, he drank it- lup- lup- lup !

Moral: Where there is a will, there is a way.

Fox and the Grapes

There was a fox, oh! so greedy.

Suddenly a bunch of grapes he saw.

So lovely he found the bunch,

That he decided to have a munch.

He jumped for the grapes but all in vain.

He hurt his legs and cried of pain. He tried for quite an hour,

And finally said, “Oh! The grapes are sour!”

Moral: Keep on trying till you succeed.

The Hare and The Tortoise

A hare and tortoise decided to race.

The hare jeered, “So low is your pace”.

Finally when, the race began,

And the hare- ran, ran, and ran!

Shortly after he fell asleep,

Tortoise thought, “I have to keep my pace.”

The tortoise continued to run,

Defeated the hare and won.

Moral: Slow and steady wins the race.

Cats and The Monkey

There were two pussy cats,

Fighting for a piece of bread.

Then came a cunning monkey,

With an idea to make them donkey.

He began to divide the bread,

“Oh! The first piece is bigger”, he said.

He took some share, from the piece one.

And ate the bread, till there was none.

Moral: Use your wit.

The Porridge Feast

Once upon a time a little girl went for a walk in the forest. There she met

with an old woman who gave her a magic porridge pot. The lady told her all

about the pot. The little girl could not believe it. She took the pot home and

told her mother all about the pot. The mother was excited, she could not wait

to try it, as soon as the girl went out. The mother said, “cook little pot cook”

and she went to sleep. Soon the whole town was full of porridge. The little

girl saw and ran home. She said, “stop little pot stop” the little pot finally

stopped and everyone in the town had porridge for the whole month.
