1. Correctional Community Health Experience Reflective Log ………………………..300 points Each student will participate in the Shadow a nurse
program at Statesville Prison. The experience will begin at 7am and end at 4pm. Due 1 wk /p experience
2. Health Fair Log and Group Project ….400 points Each student group will choose a goal of the healthy people
2010 campaign and develop a community health education program and staff as a booth exhibit during a health fair to be held March 22, 2010 from 10a to 2pm at GSU.
3 Assignments
3. Childcare Center group Project ……… 300 points
Each group will meet with the Carol Morrison, director of GSUs Child Development Center, and develop an educational program for either the children or the staff that meets their healthcare educational needs.
