the agency’s web-based Child Nutrition system.
September 1987 – November 1997 MS Dept of IT Services (ITS) Jackson, MSState’s System Architect / Technology Consultant Lead source for the state of Mississippi for emerging hardware and software technology
advancements. Researched, tested and performed pilot programs to determine the large-scale and long-term
feasibility of new technologies. Served as a project manager and business analysis for state agencies to match technology with
their needs. Prepared white papers and associated documents for applicable technologies. Directed groups of state IT professionals to discuss technology trends and needs. Other competencies utilized while at ITS include: business analysis, DBA, RFP/Bid process, and
contract/vendor management. Worked with the MS Dept. of Public Safety providing, project management, analysis, design,
