Symmetrix Configuration :

1. Verify that the current Symmetrix configuration is a viable configuration for

host-initiated configuration changes. The command below will return successfully if the Symmetrix is ready for configuration changes.

2. Free physical disk space can be checked using the command:

# symconfigure list -freespace [-units CYLINDERSMB] -sid SymmID
