Act 1

The two protagonsts are going to hand a legal document into the office

The camera uses a wide shot to show them entering the room. However the first thing that audience sees is them walking up the stairs to the office. The shot used here is panelling, the reason for this is to create the illusion that they are being watched

The lighting is dim and is aimed mainly at them

The sound is only on the characters talking as they enter the room- this is to create tension and curiosity so that the audience can suss that something is about to happen. The sound of the door handle as they enter is extremely powerful as it could be seen as a queue for whatever is out there that they are entering

Mis en scene is used to create the atmosphere of being quite dark and eerie and that the characters are not aware that they are about to encounter danger.

Act 2

The characters are about to put the document on the table but they hear a strange noise. They look at each other in ore of fear as if one of them supposedly has the justification for this traumatic experience.

They attempt to leave but the door slams in front of them and the demon reveals itself. A close up is used here to show the characters facial expressions of how frightened they are.

They attempt to turn back and run, wide shot is used here to show the vengeance in their attempt to get away but little do they know that they are trapped.

The main atmosphere of the lighting here is still dark the lighting highlighting the characters clothes and faces

Mis en scene is in chaos as there are tables and paper spread violently across the floor.

Act 3

As they run, trying to get away from the demon. they fall into the messy atmosphere

One of the characters gets stuck underneath a white table and the other tries to get him untangled- another close up is used to intensify the danger they are in as the demon is lurking behind them.

The sound of their heavy breathing indicates panic and agitation.

The character stuck under the table pleads to his friend; telling him to leave and that he will catch up

A low wide shot is used to show the characters body effectuated by the ground. A alienist sound is played to warn the audience that the demon is here. Its shadow crosses over the characters body as he begins to scream.

Credits are then shown whilst all the audience can hear is him screaming in pain

A demonic laugh is played and the protagonist stops screaming
