Synthetic Biology is one of the most rapidly growing areas of modern science with a wealth of potential for developments in healthcare, industrial biotechnology, plant research and beyond. Those working or studying Synthetic Biology or related fields are invited to attend this conference. The program will include outstanding talks from international scientists as well as leading established and early career scientists from Australia and New Zealand. We expect around 200 participants from academia, government research labs and industry. Plenary speakers Prof. Jim Haseloff (Cambridge, UK) is a world leader in plant synthetic and systems biology. Dr Jane Calvert (Edinburgh, UK) is a world leader in the sociology and philosophy of synthetic biology.
