The world’s fastest 4K and IP multiviewer
When it comes to speed and flexibility, there is nothing on the market to compare with our new SynView, a powerful, modular multiviewer that can handle both 4K and any IP video format.
Featuring vastly improved specifications, SynView is the industry’s only single field latency (20ms@50Hz and 16,[email protected]) multiviewer system to offer external looping for an unlimited amount of input channels. Thanks to its modular architecture it can either be used as a stand-alone unit or it can be combined with over 300 different Synapse signal processing modules to provide a system that truly stands out from the competition.
SynView’s unequalled low processing delay and start up time makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, from the smallest to the largest, including fast response production monitor walls; high resolution, high source count monitor walls and OB van preview monitoring and shading.
The system consists of 7 basic models. These versions can be mixed and matched to build a hybrid multiviewer with up to hundreds of inputs and 8 1080p heads (on SDI) or two heads with UHD/4K resolution. Multiple connector panels are available to allow for different I/O configurations.
SynView: low latency modular 4K and IP multiview system
Screen overlays: UMD and Tally
Key Features J Dual 10Gb Ethernet J Agnostic IP video channel picker compatible with formats like ST2022-7, ST2110 , AVB/TSN etc.
J Linear expandable system in steps of 8 SDI input channels or networked channels
J UHD (4-wire), 3Gb/s, HD or SD SDI inputs J 2x UHD or 8x HD outputs J Unlimited amounts of inputs per dual UHD output configuration or per 8 3Gb/s SDI output configuration

There are currently 7 models defined. The following table shows the differences in I/O, scalers and monitoring capabilities:
The above cards have the same output configuration with up to dual head UHD/4k on dual quad 3Gb/s SDI (with a 5V powered quad SDI to HDMI converter), or 8 outputs on SDI. The cards can be combined in any combination up to 12 cards in the new SFR18 gen3 with the new SMP175 power supply.
Because of the external Daisy Chain mini SAS-HD connector you can build a multiviewer with, in theory, an unlimited amount of input channels, as you can chain the cards even between frames. The dual head feature allows for any mix of long or short chains; i.e. 4 x 8 tiles + 1 x 32 tiles
You can split the multiviewer into smaller chunks of cards. A MGU200 can also be used stand-alone as a dual quadsplit (or even octsplit) with 8 1080p pictures spread over 2 UHD screens (pixel mapping with no scaling).
Explanation of the model numbers:
1st character letter: M (Multiview)
2nd character letter = inputs: G for 3Gb/s SDI inputs N for network inputs (Neuron)
3rd character letter = outputs: U for dual 4K/UHD on 8 SDI connectors G for dual 3Gb/s SDI outputs N for network out (including a single 4K/UHD output on SDI)
4th character number = scalers : 2 for 2 tiles per input (production applications) 1 for 1 tile per input (monitoring applications)
5th character number: 0 (future model deviator)

The following examples show the flexibility of the system but not all possibilities are displayed. The possibilities are endless.
Please note that the internal video path consists of two UHD/4K (3840x2160 pixels) heads. If a source can be scaled and positioned twice, as in the MGU200, each scaled and positioned image will be positioned on each head independently. There is a scaler per input for head 1 and a scaler for head 2 in this case. Even though the card has 8 SDI outputs and they can be used independently as 8 streams the limitation will be that the cores consists of two UHD heads.
Example 1: 8x HD to UHD quad splits
In this example, every input is displayed natively on a high resolution UHD display forming two quad splits.
