System 2000 Windows

System 2000 is an advanced suite of windows designed by Allan Brothers which offers five modes of operation from a common section.

This gives specifiers the flexibility to mix and match operations to suit their needs without compromising the external appearance of a building.

Window Energy Rating

ConstruCtionAs standard, the windows are made from quality redwood. A hardwood option is also available.

The range is constructed from generously proportioned timber sections.

GlazinGUsing glazing rebates of 47 x 20mm, our System 2000 windows incorporate 28mm double glazed units (4/20/4) as standard. The glazing system has a fully drained and vented alloy bottom bead with timber beads to top and sides as standard.

The beading is secured using Allan Brothers’ fixing system to enhance product integrity and appearance.

Specialist glazing can be fitted on request to give additional insulation and security.

A range of glazing bars and astragals are also available on request.

ironmonGeryHingesCanopy Top Swing - Fully reversibleA canopy hinge is used to fully reverse the sash horizontally through 180° for ease of cleaning. It also incorporates a restrictor. Available in a specification that meets the requirements of BS7950- enhanced security for windows.

Top Hung, Reflex HingesOutward opening sash on flush fitting hinges to accommodate a smaller sash.

Side Hung, Reflex HingesOutward opening sash on heavy duty friction stays, allowing opening to 88° for ease of cleaning. Available in a specification that meets the requirements of BS7950- enhanced security for windows.

The whole System 2000 range of windows are supplied with espagnolette locking as standard. Lockable handles are also standard, with an extensive range of styles and finishes available.

FaCtory FinishAllan Brothers’ products are treated with preservative after all machining.This is applied by means of a double vacuum process in accordance with BS8417 and NHBC recommendations.

Our water-based coatings are carefully formulated to seal the end-grain against moisture ingress, inhibit tannin stain and give the timber a quality look and feel.

VentilatorsVentilators are fitted within the frame head so that they are concealed, thereby eliminating the need for an unsightly and vulnerable external hood.

All ventilators comply with current building regulations: Approved Document F England & Wales and Scottish Building Standards Section 3.
