ANNUAL RAINFALL

At least 200cm of it, perhaps up to 350 centimeters in warmer areas.

Average is above 0 C. Warmest is around 20 C.

LOCATION (LATITUDE)

Located mid-latitude; between 23.5 degrees and 55 degrees North and South.

VEGETATION (PLANTS & TREES)

Beeches can reach up to 40 mt tall and have a large foliage.

Aspens are medium size trees that can reach up to 25 mt tall.

HUMAN IMPACT

Humans negatively impact on the biogeochemical cycles in the ecosystem, and the nitrogen cycle and the phosphorous cycle.
