THE IDEA

Our main goal and thrust is to give a second

life to wood fished out from rivers. River

wood has unusual and unique look. It

possesses exclusive drawing and colour. It has

laid in the water for a few hundred years or,

like bog oak for a few thousand years without

light and air.

The company T. Riverwood aims at acquiring

old beams from rivers and lakes but most of

all at acquiring black oak and then process

them into furniture, floors, walls for all kinds

of interior designs, gardens and terraces. We

have at our disposal a sawmill, a carpenter's

shop, a locksmith's and all kinds of machines

and devices needed for processing our

precious wood. We cooperate with

experienced carpenters who carry out even

unreal ideas.

COLLECTION

The latest collection consists of tables, slabs

and Wall-in 3Ds. Each table is made of

Riverwood wood and is custom-made. It will

possess a unique, unrepeatable texture thanks

to which the table will be a piece of art in its

useful form.

BOG OAK

The most known "river" wood is of course bog

oak, one of the hardest and most expensive

kinds of wood.

RIVERWOOD The process of creating the perfect material begins on a bank of

the river.

Cutted down or fallen trees are slowly gaining extraordinary

strength and aesthetic values in deep cold waters.

BOG OAK

The oak wood is aging for thousands years without oxygen and light in the

river mud, swamp or gravel. Through the time it gains unique strenght

and coloring.

The proces of creating bog oak can be compared to geological

transformations when the coal become the diamond.

By some called european ebony. Highly valued in the world.

Without comparison to contemporary wood.

Age authenticity certificate of extracted wood is prepared with the use

of radiocarbon and dendrochronological method by renowned scientific

research institutes.

Dating concludes, that wood found in the bottom of

Polish rivers, is from one thousand to couple thousand

years.

Wood extraction from the riverbed is extremely laborious and complex.

Black Oak resources are very limited. Unique on a global scale.

THOUSAND YEARS OLD

PINE & SPRUCE Pine or spruce from the water has thick grain. Devoid of resins and saturated with

minerals that increase its stability and durability.

DOORS & WALLS Unique materials looks great on big surfaces.

We use oak, pine and barnwood to create wall tiles or

sliding doors.

T. Riverwood Company is engaged in the extraction of trees from rivers

and lakes.

We sell raw material in the form of slabs, logs and planks of various

thickness and we process material for furniture, f looring and wall panels.

We dispose a sawmill,

carpenter, locksmith and all kinds of machinery and equipment needed

to rework our precious wood. We work with experienced carpenters,

who implement even unrealistic ideas. We also offer wood from

demolished barns and furniture made of it.
