ZERO BALANCE DAY
All accounts must be at zero balance by these dates to
ensure continued attendance and sit for final exams.
December 10th, First Semester Clearance
May 10th, Second Semester Clearance
DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS
If an account remains unpaid by the last day of the month,
the account is then subject to an attendance hold or
suspension. As a result, students are not permitted to
return to class or participate in any school sponsored
activities until the balance is paid in full or a payment
arrangement is established with Student Finance. An
account will also be subject to this rule as a result of more
than two returned payments. Once a payment
arrangement has been made, the arrangement is null and
void and the balance becomes due in full immediately if
any portion of the payment arrangement is in default. If
payment arrangements have not been made, La Sierra
Academy reserves the right to withdraw the student(s)
from school.
EXTENDED CARE
All students in grades TK-8 who are not under the direct
supervision of an adult before and after school will be sent
to Extended Care (please see Extended Care schedule
at www.lsak12.com). The rate for Extended Care is $2 per
15 min or any portion thereof and $2 per minute after 6pm
Monday-Thursday and 4pm Fridays.
GENERAL FINANCIAL INFORMATION
We thank you for joining the LSA Family. While La Sierra
Academy's primary source of income is tuition, it does not
cover the full cost of operating the school. Members of the
Seventh-day Adventist Church support Adventist
education with substantial church and conference
subsidies. For your convenience, the annual tuition
charge is divided into ten installments and billed August
through May. The monthly installment plan is designed to
help parents spread the cost of tuition over ten months
and does not signify the cost of education per month. The
first tuition payment is prorated if a student withdraws
within the first TEN days of attendance. Subsequent
tuition installments may be reversed if the student
withdraws by the 10th of the month. By submitting an
online application and a re-enrollment packet, each family
agrees to LSA's financial terms and conditions. We ask
that each family understands its commitment to the school
and faithfully pays tuition and fees on time.
TUITION BILLING & PAYMENT PROCEDURES
Parents may access their FACTS account at any time to
view their tuition payment plan and incidental billing. All
payments are processed through FACTS. Tuition is due
on the 10th of each month. If a payment is returned,
FACTS will automatically assess a $25 returned payment
fee and a $35 per student late fee. Payments made at the
institution (LSA) and returned for any reason will be
assessed a $35 fee and may be resubmitted without
notification.
FAMILY DISCOUNT
To qualify for family discounts, two or more students must
appear on a family plan. Discounts only apply to students
attending LSA.
5% tuition discount for the second or younger child
10% tuition discount for the third or younger child
