On behalf of the Senate Committee on Economics, Commerce and Industry of the

Kingdom of Thailand, I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that Mr. Wittaya Inala ,

Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economics, Commerce and Industry, has been designated

to pay a courtesy call on His Excellency at the Lao Embassy in Bangkok on Friday July

B.E. 2553 (2010). The purposes are to exchange opinions and to strengthen collaboration

between our two countries in terms of the regional economies.

Our committee is in the process of formulating our economic and social development

strategies for the next ten years.

In addition, the committee is considering research on the Economic Model 2020 so we

would like to receive the views and opinions of many Ambassadors in order to analyze the

economic policies.
