THE PURPOSE OF PINKERTON ACADEMY The purpose of Pinkerton Academy is to educate high school students in order that they may lead productive, socially responsible, and fulfilling lives. Fundamental to this purpose is the belief that students and staff should strive toward the highest academic and personal standards. Our broad-based programs address and integrate the intellectual/creative/academic; personal/social; and career development of students.

THE EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY OF PINKERTON ACADEMY

The philosophy of education at Pinkerton Academy is that students need to acquire the skills, values, behaviors, and knowledge that are essential for success in a diverse and rapidly changing society. Students also need to develop skills, talents, and abilities that will enable them to pursue new truths, knowledge, and skills. Students should also aspire to use their knowledge, skills, talents and abilities to improve the human condition. Embedded within this philosophy is our understanding of the nature of the learner, nature of learning, and developmental traits of high school students.

STUDENT ATHLETIC HANDBOOK The Student Athletic handbook is intended to serve as a guide to help students and their families come to know Pinkerton Academy’s Athletic Program. This handbook will provide everyone with the expectations of Pinkerton Academy student-athletes and to have knowledge of the rules and regulations by which the Academy’s Athletic Program is governed. Please understand that no set of rules or guidelines can cover every conceivable situation that may arise. The rules, policies, and procedures set forth in this handbook are intended to apply under normal circumstances. However, from time to time, there may be situations that require immediate or non-standard responses. This handbook does not limit the authority of Pinkerton Academy to deviate from the normal rules and procedures set forth in this handbook, and to deal with individual circumstances as they arise in the manner deemed most appropriate by the Pinkerton Academy Administration and Athletic Director.

PHYSICALS 1. To be eligible to participate in interscholastic athletics at Pinkerton Academy, every athlete must receive a

complete physical. This must be done prior to participating in any try-out, practice session, or playing in any game or scrimmage.

2. This physical must be submitted on a Pinkerton Academy Athletic Physical Form. Forms are available in the Athletic Office (telephone # 437-5200 x2115), in the Shepard Office at Pinkerton or on the Pinkerton Academy Athletic web site www.PinkertonAcademy.org

3. The cost for the physical is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. 4. Physicals will be good for 2 years from the date of the exam. 5. Each season an athlete will need to fill out the permission to participate form, update medical history, and fill

out the athletic medical emergency card online through Family ID. 6. At the end of each school year, the School Doctor, School Nurse, Athletic Trainer, and Athletic Director will

compile a list of athletes, who because of their medical history, will be required to be re-examined by a physician prior to participation in athletic programs in the next year. Any athlete who has had a major illness or injury, which may affect safe participation in athletics, must be re-examined before returning to play.

7. Incoming freshmen must have their physical after June 1 of the year they are entering Pinkerton Academy.

CARE OF EQUIPMENT 1. Pinkerton Academy provides its athletes with uniforms and equipment. The athlete is responsible for the

uniforms and equipment issued. Pinkerton will provide each athlete with a locker to protect valuables. The athlete is responsible for all personal valuables.

2. All uniforms and equipment issued to athletes will be collected at the end of the season. An athlete who quits during the season is responsible for returning the equipment to the coach.

3. If any equipment issued is lost, the athlete is expected to reimburse Pinkerton for the replacement cost. If the equipment is not returned or if reimbursement for lost equipment is not made, an athlete will be subject to administrative disciplinary action.

ELIGIBILITY Eligibility for Pinkerton Academy athletes is governed by the NHIAA. This eligibility requirement is set for all levels of competition (Varsity, Junior Varsity, Sophomore, and Freshman). An athlete must meet the following eligibility requirements: 1. An athlete must have passed a physical examination and have completed a Physical Form provided by the

Pinkerton Academy Athletic Department prior to playing or practicing a sport at Pinkerton. 2. An athlete must not turn 19 before September 1 of the current school year. 3. All athletes are required to have health insurance to participate in athletics at Pinkerton Academy. If there are

any questions regarding the required Health Insurance please contact the athletic office at 603-437-5200 x2115. 4. An athlete is eligible for interscholastic competition for no more than eight consecutive semesters once

completing grade eight. 5. An athlete must pass four academic units of work during the previous marking quarter. An athlete must be

eligible at the start of a season in order to be a member of a sports team. 6. a. If at any time an athlete receives any type of financial remuneration for participating in sports that are

organized by the NHIAA, athletic eligibility for that athlete will be terminated from all high school sports from the date of the infraction.

b. Accepting a nominal fee for instructing, supervising, or officiating in an organized youth sports program or recreation, playground or camp activity shall not jeopardize the athlete’s amateur status.

c. If an athlete signs a professional playing contract, amateur status will be lost in the sport involved. 7. A member of a school team is a student athlete who is regularly present for, and actively participates in, all

team practices and competitions. Bona fide members of a school team are prevented from missing a high school practice or competition to compete with an "out-of-school team." Whenever a conflict arises between the high school team practice/competition and an out-of-school practice/competition on the same day, the high school team practice/competition must be honored by the student athlete. Priority must be given at all times to the high school team, its practices, and its contests. Penalties: Any student athlete who violates this rule for the first time shall be declared ineligible for the next 4 consecutive interscholastic events or 3 weeks of a season in which the student athlete is a participant, whichever is greater. This penalty is effective from the date of his or her last participation in a high school sport. Any student athlete who violates this rule a second time or subsequent time shall be declared ineligible for participation in any high school sport for the balance of the school year.

8. Please consult the Athletic Director if you have transferred to Pinkerton Academy from another high school. Certain regulations must be followed to allow the athlete to participate.

9. a. Any athlete or coach who is disqualified from a game at the freshman, sophomore, junior varsity, or varsity level, for exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct shall not participate in the next scheduled interscholastic athletic event, including NHIAA Tournament contests. The athlete or coach is not allowed to be in attendance at the next scheduled event. There is a two game suspension for an athlete who is removed from a game due to fighting. The athlete and coach are required to take an NFHS Sportsmanship course online before returning to play.

b. If any athlete or coach receives a second game disqualification during the season, that individual will be required to forfeit any participation in that interscholastic sport, at any level, for the remainder of that season.

c. If the game disqualification is administered in the final contest of the season (including tournament play), the penalty shall be carried over in that sport and invoked at the first regular season game the following academic year. If a disqualification is administered to a graduating senior or coach in the final game of coaching for the Academy, it is the expectation of the NHIAA that the school will take immediate and appropriate disciplinary action.

RULES AND REGULATIONS The following regulations have been set forth by the Pinkerton Academy Athletic Department to govern participation in school athletic programs. 1. Athletes must be physically fit. 2. Athletes are expected to be loyal and dedicated to their family, team, teammates, school and coaches. 3. Athletes must have and maintain a record of acceptable and appropriate citizenship, character, and personal

conduct, both inside and outside the school environment. In regard to a student’s questionable eligibility, the Headmaster/Designee will investigate and make the determination. In a finding of ineligibility, this determination will also include specific periods of time.

4. An athlete must comply with the coaches' procedures for pre-season practice and try-outs. If there are circumstances (physical or otherwise) which involve the athlete, it is important that the coach and/or Athletic Director be notified in advance of the situation.

5. Athletes are expected to attend all practices, scrimmages, games, meets or matches. Acceptable school-verified absences include only those for: illness, college visitations, doctor appointments, religious holidays, and school sponsored activities approved by the administration. Teacher-sponsored trips (example: trips taken during vacation to Europe, Canada, etc.) and family vacations will not be considered excused absences. Parents and athletes are asked to make these decisions prior to the beginning of the sports season. Realizing special situations may occur; athletes and parents can apply for a waiver to this rule from the Athletic Director. If the waiver is granted, the athlete will be required to sit out contests/meets/events upon returning from the trip that, at a minimum, equal the number of contest/meet/event days missed. It is necessary for the athlete to apply for this waiver well in advance of the absence.

6. Any athlete who was treated by any type of doctor must submit a release note from that doctor prior to resuming participation in practices and/or games. The note needs to state the student is cleared to participate in athletics.

7. An athlete may not participate in school sports or practice unless present in school on that day. Any athlete who does not report to school by 9:00 AM or leaves school during the day for reasons of sickness or truancy will not be eligible to participate in any scheduled interscholastic practice, scrimmage, or contest on that date. Special requests from parents regarding dismissals from or late arrivals to the Academy must be requested of the Athletic Director. If an event is scheduled for Saturday, the athlete must be present the Friday before the game. If a violation becomes known at a later date, the penalty will be enforced at the next practice or game following the disclosure with possible additional penalties. a. All athletes must travel to and from away games on the transportation provided by Pinkerton Academy.

Athletes may be released directly to their parent/guardian after a contest and will be expected to ride home with the parent. A note is needed.

b. An athlete can never drive to or from an away athletic event. 8. a. Any athlete or parent having a concern or problem related to an athletic program should contact the

appropriate coach of the particular team. b. If the athlete or parent is not satisfied with the decision of the varsity coach, the Athletic Director should be

contacted to express concerns and discuss the matter. The Athletic Director will review the facts of the case and should make a decision within five school days.

c. If the athlete or parent does not agree with the decision of the Athletic Director, an appeal can be made to the Dean of Students. The Dean of Students will conduct a hearing with the athlete, parents/guardians, coaches involved in the particular case, and the Athletic Director. The Dean of Students will gather the information regarding the case, review the evidence presented and make a decision within five days of the hearing date. Under extenuating circumstances, an appeal may be made to the Headmaster.

9. Every sport will have a minimum of three days of tryouts. Students must be present at these tryouts in order to be eligible to be selected as a team member.

10. All game uniforms that represent Pinkerton Academy must be red and white or red and gray. Other colors may be used in very small amounts to border or highlight numbers or letters. All other clothing, warm-up jackets, shirts, etc., may be black or gray provided red and/or white is used as the other color.

ATHLETIC POLICY ON ALCOHOL, DRUGS, AND TOBACCO

Alcohol and other drugs are prohibited for students who participate in any Pinkerton Academy athletics.

Such behaviors are counter to our athletic expectations that are designed to:

● Uphold the educational value of programs where each individual contributes to the whole for the

success of the athletic team;

● Ensure students perform at peak levels, developing self, group and team discipline;

● Prepare students for living within the law and contributing to their community;

● Reflect the school's high standards for all students;

● Ensure that students participating in athletics serve as good representatives of our school and

demonstrate appropriate representation through their character, sportsmanship, teamwork,

mutual respect and trust.

Prohibited behaviors include:

● Use of alcohol, and/or possession of alcohol, in any form.

● Use of illegal or controlled drugs, and/or possession of same, in any form.

● Use of and/or possession of drug paraphernalia, such as but not limited to rolling papers, blunts,

pipes, hookah pens, or other types of electronic delivery devices.

● Knowingly being in the presence where alcohol and drug use is taking place.

● Purchasing, attempting to purchase, possessing, or using any tobacco product.

The Pinkerton Academy Athletic policy on alcohol, drugs, and tobacco reflects Pinkerton Academy’s

Vision Statement that students will…become thinkers and communicators, and grow as responsible and

productive citizens. While celebrating the strengths of our traditions, we encourage innovation in

response to a changing world.

Additionally, the Life of an Athlete Program (sponsored by the NHIAA) encourages a comprehensive

prevention program which uses the intrinsic value of athletics to empower and motivate students to

drive a cultural shift related to alcohol and other drugs in their communities.

FIRST OFFENSE:

● Parent/Guardian will be notified.

● Student will be suspended from team or activity for a minimum of two weeks.

● Student will be reinstated after two weeks, if he/she agrees to, and follows through with:

○ Writing a rehabilitation plan, to include a reflective narrative.

○ Meeting with a substance abuse counselor.

Failure to comply will result in removal from sports or activities for the season.

SECOND OFFENSE

● Parent/Guardian will be notified.

● Student will be suspended from team or activity for a minimum of the remainder of the season

(or the next season if offense occurs between seasons).

● Student will be ineligible to participate in another sport season or in a subsequent activity unless

he/she agrees to and follows through with:

○ Writing a rehabilitation plan, to include a reflective narrative.

○ Attending, with parent(s)/guardian(s), a meeting with a substance abuse counselor.

Failure to comply will result in removal from sports or activities for 365 days.

THIRD OFFENSE

● Parent/Guardian will be notified.

● Student will be suspended from sports or activities for 365 days.

● Student may be reinstated after 365 days by:

○ Writing a rehabilitation plan, to include a reflective narrative.

○ Attending, with parent(s)/guardian(s), a meeting with a substance abuse counselor.

○ Performing a community service pertinent to the offense, and not inclusive of any other

school community service requirement (10 hours).

Failure to comply will result in removal from sports or activities for high school career.

Once a student has begun their first sport at Pinkerton Academy, the drug, alcohol, and

tobacco policy, as noted above, is applicable and violations are cumulative over the course

of a student’s career, regardless if the offense occurs during or between seasons.

For any such behavior that results in a school suspension, the school suspension will be

served first, then upon return to school, any above consequence will then go into effect.

Note: Consequences for any other inappropriate behaviors will be determined by the

coach, advisor, and/or administrator.

PINKERTON ACADEMY STUDENT ATHLETE CODE OF ETHICS Taken from NHIAA Handbook

TRUSTWORTHINESS

1. Trustworthiness – Be worthy of trust in all you do. 2. Integrity – Live up to high ideals of ethics and sportsmanship and always pursue victory with honor; do

what is right even when it’s unpopular or personally costly. 3. Honesty – Live and compete honorably, do not lie, cheat, steal, or engage in any other dishonest or

unsportsmanlike conduct. 4. Reliability – Fulfill commitments; do what you say you will do; be on time to practices and games. 5. Loyalty – Be loyal to your school and team; put the team above personal glory.

RESPECT

1. Respect – Treat all people with respect at all times. 2. Class – Live and play with class; be a good sport; be gracious in victory and accept defeat with dignity;

help up fallen opponents, compliment extraordinary performance, show sincere respect in pre- and post-game rituals.

3. Respectful Conduct – Do not engage in disrespectful conduct of any sort including profanity, obscene gestures, offensive remarks of the sexual nature, trash talking, taunting, boastful celebrations, or other actions that demean individuals or the sport.

4. Respect for Officials – Treat contest officials with respect; do not complain about or argue with officials’ calls or decisions during or after an athletic event.

RESPONSIBILITY

1. Importance of Education – Be a student first and commit to earning your diploma and get the best education you can. Be honest with yourself about the likelihood of getting an athletic scholarship of playing on a professionally level and remember that many universities will not recruit student-athletes that do not have a serious commitment to their education, the ability to succeed academically or the character to represent their institution honorably.

2. Role Modeling – Remember, participation in sports is a privilege not a right and that you are expected to represent your school, coach, and teammates with honor, on and off the field. Consistently exhibit good character and conduct yourself as a positive role model.

3. Self-control – Exercise self-control; do not fight or show excessive displays of anger or frustration; have the strength to overcome the temptation to retaliate.

4. Healthy Lifestyle – Safeguard your health; do not use any illegal or unhealthy substances including alcohol, tobacco, and drugs or engage in any unhealthy techniques to gain, lose, or maintain weight.

5. Integrity of the Game – Protect the integrity of the game; do not gamble or associate with or deal with professional gamblers.

6. Sexual Conduct – Sexual or romantic contact of any sort between students and coaches is improper and strictly forbidden. Report misconduct to proper authorities.

FAIRNESS

1. Be Fair – Live up to high standards of fair play; be open-minded; always be willing to listen and learn. CARING

1. Concern for Others – Demonstrate concern for others; never intentionally injure any player or engage in reckless behavior that might cause injury to yourself or others.

2. Teammates – Help promote the well-being of teammates by positive counseling and encouragement or by reporting any unhealthy or dangerous conduct to coaches.

CITIZENSHIP

1. Play by the Rules – Maintain a thorough knowledge of and abide by all applicable game and competition rules.

2. Spirit of Rules – Honor the spirit and the letter of rules; avoid temptations to gain competitive advantage through improper gamesmanship techniques that violate the highest traditions of sportsmanship.

PINKERTON ACADEMY ATHLETIC POLICY ON HAZING Hazing - is NOT permitted under any circumstances

“Hazing” means any act directed toward a student, or any coercion or intimidation of a student to act or to participate in or submit to any act when:

1. Such act is likely or would be perceived by a reasonable person as likely to cause physical or psychological injury to any person; and

2. Such act is a condition of initiation into, admission into, continued membership in or association with any organization.

What is hazing? "Hazing" is defined as any behavior exhibited by students or other persons towards students arising in the context of so-called initiation rites for new club or team members, or students new to a school or the district, or activities of a similar nature, whose intent or effect is to degrade, demean, humiliate, place at risk of physical or emotional harm, cause physical or emotional harm, or place at risk of punishment by school or civil authorities.

Examples of hazing include, but are not limited to the following:

a. Any type of physical brutality such as whipping, beating, striking, branding, electronic shocking or placing a harmful substance on the body.

b. Any type of physical activity such as sleep deprivation, exposure to weather, confinement in a restricted area, rigorous calisthenics or other activity that subjects the student to an unreasonable risk of harm or that adversely affects the mental or physical health or safety of the student.

c. Any activity involving the consumption of any alcoholic beverage, drug, tobacco product, or any other food, liquid, or substance that subjects the students to an unreasonable risk of harm or that adversely affects the mental or physical health or safety of the student.

d. Any activity that intimidates or threatens the student with ostracism, that subjects a student to extreme mental stress, embarrassment, shame or humiliation, that adversely affects the mental health or dignity of the student or discourages the student from remaining in school or in the club, team or activity involved.

e. Any activity that causes or requires the student to perform a task that involves a violation of state or federal law or regulation, or of the school district's policies and/or regulations.

Punishment: In accordance with New Hampshire law, RSA 631:7, the Academy will not condone student hazing, will take all reasonable measures to prevent student hazing, and will report all instances of such misconduct to law enforcement authorities.

A student who hazes another student may lose the privilege of playing a sport for the Academy. Any student who is found to have participated in a hazing activity will be subject to suspension for all or part of the sports season in which the incident occurred. In addition, that student may be prohibited from participating during other sports in other seasons.

AWARDS

Listed below are the explanations and requirements for all athletic awards given at Pinkerton Academy. A. Varsity Letter Requirements

1. An athlete who participates in 40% of the quarters, halves, periods, etc. in a varsity sport may be eligible for a Varsity letter in that sport.

2. Any varsity athlete who plays a team sport (baseball, basketball, field hockey, football, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, spirit, and volleyball) may be eligible for a varsity letter if the athlete is a member of the varsity team for the full season and participates in no sub-varsity contests.

3. The criteria for a varsity letter in alpine skiing, bowling, cross country, gymnastics, swimming, tennis, track, and wrestling competition will be explained by the coaches of those individual sports.

4. Managers, trainers and statisticians must complete three years of service working with a varsity team and/or the same program to earn a varsity letter. If there are extenuating circumstances, the decision to award a letter is left to the coach of the individual team and the Athletic Director.

5. Any athlete who was an active member of a team for four years will receive a varsity letter. 6. To earn a letter, an athlete must complete the season. If an athlete cannot finish a season due to an injury,

awarding of a letter is left to the discretion of the coach. Awards: 1. The first time an athlete earns a varsity letter, the athlete will receive a 6-inch red "P" as well as a metal

insert designating the sport. 2. If an athlete earns a letter in another sport (the second or third different sport) for the first time, the athlete

will receive a metal insert designating that sport. 3. If an athlete wins more than one letter in a single sport, the athlete will receive another metal insert

designating the sport to place on the letter each of the succeeding years. 4. If an athlete is a captain of the sport, a captain's pin will be given to place on the letter. 5. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all team members who complete their sports season.

B. Sub-Varsity Award Requirements 1. An athlete who completes the season in a sub-varsity sport is eligible for an award in that sport. 2. Managers, trainers, and statisticians working with a JV or Freshman team are eligible to earn a JV/Frosh

award. This is left to the discretion of the coach of each individual sport. 3. To earn an award an athlete must complete the season. If an athlete cannot finish the season due to an

injury, the decision of receipt of an award will be left to the discretion of the coach. Awards: 1. The first time an athlete wins a sub-varsity award, numerals containing the last two digits of the athlete’s

graduating year will be awarded. 2. The second time an athlete wins a sub-varsity award in the same sport, a 3-inch white "P" will be awarded. 3. An athlete may receive only one set of numerals and one 3-inch white "P" regardless of how many

sub-varsity sports are played. 4. No metal inserts will be given to sub-varsity award winners. 5. Certificates of participation will be given to all team members who complete their season.

C. Senior Athletic Award Requirements

1. A senior must have earned varsity letters as stated below: a. Three varsity letters in one sport

b. Two varsity letters in two sports c. One varsity letter in three sports

2. Letters must be earned in the senior year to have that sport used as eligibility for this award. 3. Athletes who have quit teams or have been removed from teams due to disciplinary action or grades are

ineligible for the Senior Athletic Award. 4. Athletes, managers, and trainers are eligible for this award. 5. Recipients must have demonstrated loyalty and dedication to Pinkerton Academy and its athletic program. Award: 1. A plaque will be given to each senior recipient. 2. The plaque will contain the athlete's name and participation record.

D. Scholar-Athlete Award Requirements

1. This award can be earned by either a varsity or a sub-varsity athlete. 2. An athlete must complete the season to be eligible for this award. 3. To earn this award, an athlete must have made the honor roll as stated below:

a. Fall First Quarter b. Winter Second Quarter c. Spring Third Quarter

Award: 1. A varsity athlete will earn a Varsity Scholar-Athlete Certificate. 2. A sub-varsity athlete will earn a Sub-varsity Scholar-Athlete Certificate.

E. Tri-Athlete Award

An athlete must have earned varsity letters in three sports during a school year. Award: 1. A certificate will be given to each recipient. 2. The certificate will contain the athlete’s name and participation record for the year.

NCAA ELIGIBILITY CENTER All student-athletes who wish to play a sport at a NCAA Division I or Division II school must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center (ncaa.org). Division I and II Initial Eligibility Requirements Core Courses • NCAA Division I and II requires 16 core courses. • NCAA Division I will require 10 core courses to be completed prior to the seventh semester (seven of the 10 must be a combination of English, math or natural or physical science that meet the distribution requirements below). These 10 courses become "locked in" at the seventh semester and cannot be retaken for grade improvement.

o Beginning August 1, 2015, it will be possible for a Division I college-bound student-athlete to still receive athletics aid and the ability to practice with the team if he or she fails to meet the 10 course requirement, but would not be able to compete.

Test Scores • Division I uses a sliding scale to match test scores and core grade-point averages (GPA). The sliding scale for those requirements is shown on Page No. 2 of this sheet. • Division II requires a minimum SAT score of 820 or an ACT sum score of 68. • The SAT score used for NCAA purposes includes only the critical reading and math sections. The writing section of the SAT is not used. • The ACT score used for NCAA purposes is a sum of the following four sections: English, mathematics, reading and science. • When you register for the SAT or ACT, use the NCAA Eligibility Center code of 9999 to ensure all SAT and ACT scores are reported directly to the NCAA Eligibility Center from the testing agency. Test scores that appear on transcripts will not be used. Grade-Point Average • Be sure to look at your high school’s List of NCAA Courses on the NCAA Eligibility Center's website (www.eligibilitycenter.org). Only courses that appear on your school's List of NCAA Courses will be used in the calculation of the core GPA. Use the list as a guide. • Division I students enrolling full time before August 1, 2015, should use Sliding Scale A to determine eligibility to receive athletics aid, practice and competition during the first year. • Division I GPA required to receive athletics aid and practice on or after August 1, 2015, is 2.000 (corresponding test-score requirements are listed on Sliding Scale B on Page No. 2 of this sheet). • Division I GPA required to be eligible for competition on or after August 1, 2015, is 2.300 (corresponding

Note to parents about liability of playing sports at Pinkerton Academy Your child is participating in the Athletic Program at Pinkerton Academy. We hope it will be an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. We believe that it is important for athletes and their parents to realize that, in addition to the minor bumps and bruises, there exists the potential for sometimes severe and debilitating injury in the playing and practicing of all sports at all levels of competition. This, of course, is minimized when correct technique and proper skills are used. Toward that end, Pinkerton endeavors to employ coaches with a knowledge and interest in their particular program and an Athletic Trainer who is knowledgeable and committed to the well-being of athletes. Each coach will be happy to provide you with more information regarding individual programs. Pinkerton Academy offers the opportunity to its students to participate in its athletic programs. It is important that each athlete, parent, and coach read the following regulations that apply to the Pinkerton Academy Athletic Department.

1. I have read and understand the rules (pp. 6-7) regarding eligibility for interscholastic athletics at Pinkerton Academy.

2. I acknowledge that I have read and understand the statements regarding the liability note at the top of this page (p. 16) regarding the possibility of injury while playing a sport at Pinkerton Academy. Nevertheless, I acknowledge, understand, and agree that neither Pinkerton Academy nor its coaches or employees shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by my child’s participation in any such activity.

3. I have read and understand the rules and regulations (pp. 7-8) for participation in Pinkerton athletics and agree to abide by the rules set forth.

4. I have read and understand the Pinkerton Athletic Policy on Alcohol, Drugs, and Tobacco (pp. 8-10) for participation in Pinkerton athletics and agree to abide by the rules set forth.
