With a history of nearly 40 years, DFC has achieved a great deal of glorious victories as well as suffered a lot of adversities. We are proud to be one of the most football traditional provinces in Vietnam, generating many talented football players for the local club as well as for the national team.
DFC achieved its goal to stay V-League 1 2016 though started 2015 season in difficulties. It’s thanks to the concern and support from the entrepreneurs community through sponsorship and advertisement partnership. It’s also resulted from the whole-heartedly encouragement by its dear fans and by the local government. Therefore, we are preparing for good players and good finance to start the new 2016 season which will kick off in Feb, 2016. Our goal for 2016 is to be in top 10 and to display an honest and alluring football style.
In order to achieve this goal, we need your sponsorship, advertisement partnership and other types of business cooper- artion. We need to maximize our incomes to finance our minumum expenses. In return, we commit that we will play our best and your brands and products/services will be widely promoted locally and nationwide. Your logo and brand will not only appear directly in our 18,000 seated stadium during its 13 home matches with an average audience of 8,000 peo- ple/match but also on TV channels like THT, VTC, VOV and on many newspapers, online news, Facebook, Youtube, etc.

ABOUT DONG THAP PROVINCE
Dong Thap is a province in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. Dong Thap is 165 km away from Ho Chi Minh City, bordered by Pray Veng Province (Cambodia) in the north with a length of more than 48 km; Vinh Long and Can Tho in the south; An Giang in the west; and Long An and Tien Giang in the east.

HISTORY Dong Thap Football Club (DFC,) formerly known as Dong Thap football team, founded in 1976 and managed by the department of sports of Dong Thap.
Right after its establisment, DFC was ranked one of the top football clubs in the Mekong river delta. In 1987 DFC returned to the national champion league. And 2 years later, in 1989 DFC won its first champion title after beating Th Công 1-0 in Hanoi.
In 1996 DFC won its second champion trophy after beating HCMC Police 3-1 in a final derby match in Dong Thap stadium.
DFC was kicked out of V-league 1 in its first season and played in V-league 2 several years before its return to V-league 1 in the season 2001-2002. Since then DFC has been up and down between the two leagues because of its unstable performance.
In 2015 Dong Thap Football Club was taken over by Dong Thap Football Development Joint Stock Company and once again returned to play in V-league 1, after having been promoted as champions of the V-league 2 – 2014.

DFC fan club was founded in 2008. Its mission is to act as the 12th player to encourage the home players. It has created its good image in Vietnam football community as one of the most friendly and exciting fan clubs.
