Pneumatic WearRing The pneumatic WearRing absorbs side loads on pistons and rods. The pneumatic WearRing is used on both pistons and piston rods. It is a simple, economical and yet very efficient way to absorb side loads and prevent metallic contact.

Pneumatic SlipRing The Pneumatic SlipRing consist of a dynamic SlipRing of Ultralen 90 energized by a rubber O-ring. The SlipRing works perfectly with dry air, lubricated air or air direct from the compressor. It can be used for reciprocating and helical movements. It runs well against following surfaces: Hard- and mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum. The seal features low friction and a long service life.

Pneumatic Rod Seal The Pneumatic Rod Seal is a very efficient rod seal for pneumatic systems. It consists of a dynamic profile ring of Ultralen 90 energized by a rubber O-ring. The Pneumatic Rod Seal works perfectly with dry air, lubricated air or air direct from the compressor. The seal can be used for reciprocating- and helical movements. The seal features low friction and a long service life.

Introduction to MupuSeals O. L. Sealing Systems

1MupuSeals Mupusealing systems consist of a range of static and dynamic high performance MupuSeals, designed for applications where the physical and chemical working conditions are beyond the limits of traditional seals. Thus the O.L. Mupusealing system is highly applicable most equipment serving in chemical-, food-, petrochemical-, offshore- and cryogenic industries. The MupuSeal concept The MupuSeal is energized by a metal spring with carefully chosen characteristics. The dynamic seals are furnished with springs that maintain their force over a wide deformation interval. This means that the spring force remains practically constant during the life time of the seal. The static seals are furnished with springs that ensure a high uniform force on the entire circumference of the seal. Advantages of MupuSeals

Wide fluid range MupuSeals are resistant to a wide range of chemicals and will not contaminate the fluid. Wide temperature range As the spring is virtually unaffected by temperature the MupuSeals will maintain their good properties from low to high temperatures. Easy to sterilize Because of the chemical and thermal resistance MupuSeals are easy to sterilize. Even a light radiation may be used for sterilization. Service life The excellent wear resistance of the Kefloy materials and the permanent elasticity of the springs assure the MupuSeals a very long service life. Shelf life Can be stocked indefinitely. Low friction The Kefloy materials have a very low coefficient of friction. No stick-slip The static and the dynamic coefficient of friction of Kefloy is almost identical. This ensures a stick-slip free start and stop and a smooth and chatter free travel plus the possibility of accurate positioning.

Applications The MupuSeals presented in these data sheets are all single acting. Double acting seals and special designs are made on request. Please contact your local distributor. In these data sheets we present both static and dynamic seals. The dynamic seals include seals for reciprocating and rotating movements. The static seal covers seals for axial sealing as well flange seals. Groove design The groove dimensions for the standard MupuSeals are identical to grooves for O-rings according to the standards: ARP 568A, DIN 3771 and ISO 3601/1.

Scrapers O. L. Sealing Systems WypeRing 2

WypeRing 2 is a highly efficient double acting scraper. It consists of a scraping jacket with one external and one internal scraping lip plus an O-ring, which ensures a firm contact between the scraping lips and the piston rod. The external scraping lib wipes the retracting piston rod free from all kinds of dirt, mud, ice etc. which might stick to the piston rod. The internal lip retains the residual oil film, which may pass under the rod seal.
