Parking and Drop Offpatron parking, including wheelchair accessible parking, is located in front of the ar ts Centre gold Coast building. we recommend you arrive one hour before a performance, as parking is limited. overf low parking is also available in the staff car park to cater for demand during popular evening performances. a wheelchair-accessible ramp is available between the street level and the ar t gallery foyer.

people with mobility diff iculties may be dropped off in the designated set-down and pick up area located in front of the ar ts Centre gold Coast.

Patrons with individual needsthe ar ts Centre gold Coast is committed to providing access to the performing ar ts for visitors with special needs.

Wheelchairsthe ar ts theatre and ar ts Cinema are both wheelchair accessible. if you require wheelchair access and seating at the ar ts theatre, please notify Box off ice when you book your tickets. we do not require advance notice for wheelchair access to the ar ts Cinema.

Arts Theatreenriched with warmth and character, the ar ts theatre presents a unique and delicate combination of modern technology and enter tainment in a traditional theatre environment.

in all its grandeur, the ar ts theatre is one of the most intimate and spacious enter tainment arenas on the gold Coast. with two levels of seating, including balcony views, each seat in this 1135 seat auditoriumprovides uninterrupted views of the stage.

equipped with an orchestra pit, which can be raised to extend the stage, a world-class theatre sound system and additional seating upon request, the ar ts theatre is air-conditioned throughout, with full stage facilities for theatre and orchestra, as well as conventions and product launches.

our venue hire fee includes substantial facilities and equipment in audio, lighting and staging. additional equipment is available upon request. as every client has different needs, we ask that you consult with us to determine applicable hire fees.

Behind the scenes, the ar ts theatre stage is in close proximity to eight dressing rooms, each equipped with pager, show relay, furniture, air conditioning, toilet and showers. dressing room specif ications as follows:

Paradise Showroomthe magnif icent paradise showroom opens onto a large terrace with views overlooking the evandale lake, the nerang river, sculpture walkway and surfers paradise skyline. appealing to all tastes, the paradise showroom is ideal for weddings, par ties, corporate functions, seminars and conferences and can be tailored to suit any special event or catering needs.

a f irst-class venue, the paradise showroom features a large 8m stage outf itted with state-of-the-ar t lighting and audio equipment. seating up to 400 people banquet style and up to 800 for a cocktail function, the paradise showroom can also be conf igured into smaller function areas. alongside the paradise showroom is a cocktail reception area – the perfect venue to welcome your guests with pre-dinner drinks prior to being seated.Coupled with ample space and style, the ar ts Centre gold Coast boasts an award winning catering depar tment who match your dining experience to any desired theme.

Panorama Suitesituated on the second level of the ar ts Centre, the elegant panorama suite opens onto a large balcony with 180-degree sweeping views of the nerang river and the surfers paradise skyline.

one of the ar ts Centre’s most luxurious function rooms, the panorama suite seats up to 70 people comfor tably and is equipped with a fully licensed bar and ample lighting and audio needs.

adaptable and versatile, the panorama suite can be used for weddings, vip functions, cocktail par ties or anything you desire. as an added incentive, the ar ts Centre gold Coast’s award-winning functions and events depar tment is also available to theme and cater your event upon request.

The Basementa multifunctional room to suit any purpose, the Basement is a comfor table and inviting function area situated below the front entrance of the ar ts Centre gold Coast. whether it’s cocktails, banquets, live bands or a night of enter tainment, the Basement is the perfect venue for any occasion.

depending on your event, the space can be utilised accordingly. from a capacity of 150 people seated theatre-style, to a more intimate function for 24 set in classroom-style, your preferences will be accommodated with ease.

Complete with all service, lighting and audio needs, the Basement features a licensed bar and fully equipped mini-stage.

The SpaceComplete with wall-to-wall full-length mirrors, f loor-to-ceiling black walls and a small kitchenette, the space seats up to 105 people and is ideal for intimate presentations.

The Off ice Boardroomlocated on the second level of the ar ts Centre gold Coast, the Boardroom is ideal for corporate and executive meetings. seating up to 16 people, the Boardroom features stylish black leather chairs and pleasant views of the neighbouring lake, river and park - an inviting change from the average meeting room.

St Margaret’s Chapelthe ar ts Centre gold Coast provides the perfect setting and location for your wedding ceremony. located in the beautiful grounds of the ar ts Centre gold Coast is the heritage listed st Margaret’s Chapel, which is non denominational and available for hire seven days a week.

the Chapel seats 50 people comfor tably with enough standing space for 10 guests. there are three different time slots available each day of the week for services in st Margaret’s Chapel.

the gold Coast City gallery is one of australia’s most prominent public regional galleries, funded by gold Coast City Council as par t of gold Coast ar ts Centre pty ltd. the gold Coast City gallery houses the renowned city collection of contemporary and historical ar t works, documenting the character of the gold Coast as well as the development of australian ar t practice.

Collectively, the gold Coast city ar t collection is valued at over 11 million dollars and continues to grow in value. the gallery presents a diverse and dynamic program of local, national and international exhibitions and events generated by the gallery and those displayed as par t of a touring schedule.

with over 25 exhibitions and 55 events each year, the gallery is dedicated to suppor ting and mentoring local ar tists and developing enriching public programs for the community. the gallery is also home to one of australia’s longest running ar t prizes, the gold Coast ar t prize, which has provided an exciting survey of contemporary australian ar t.

the gallery is a prestigious and popular venue for hosting events including lectures, breakfasts, dinners and cocktail functions. the gallery consists of two main exhibition spaces:

Gallery One- 220 sqm- high Ceiling- accommodates 80 seated, 180 standing

Gallery Two- 210 sqm- low Ceiling- accommodates 50 seated, 160 standing

in addition to the internal gallery collection, the unique riverside evandale sculpture walk provides a pleasant and rewarding oppor tunity to engage with a range of outdoor sculptures by local and international ar tists. set against the backdrop of the surfers paradise skyline, the evandale sculpture walk is surrounded by stunning mangroves, clear blue skies, natural vegetation and trees as well as a large recreational lake, presenting a peaceful oasis in the bustle of the city.

the ar ts Centre gold Coast boasts two state-of-the-ar t cinemas, screening top quality f ilms seven days a week.

Cinema 1 seats 220 people and is furnished with luxurious seating by fagaleo. patrons’ viewing experience is enhanced by a large high-gain screen and 8 channel, dolby digital sound system. Cinema 2 is slightly smaller, holding 148 people.

our ar ts Cinemas are equipped with sennheiser infra-red sound reinforcement. this system can assist patrons with all levels of hearing impairment including hearing aids.

with stadium seating, wall-to-wall curved screens and innovative technologies, our award-winning cinemas offer the best in cinematic luxury.
