ABOUT TUESDAY NIGHT: Tacoma dropped their third straight game to Sacramento on Tuesday 1-3. Infielder Ketel Marte went 3-for-4 with the team’s only run and accounted for half of the Rainiers hits. Chris Taylor, Franklin Gutierrez, and John Hicks all contributed one hit. Starting pitcher Mike Montgomery (1-2, 3.32) made the longest outing for a Rainiers starter this year, going 7.0 innings and allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits. Reliever Mark Lowe tossed 1.0 innings, allowing two hits.

RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS: Rainiers starter Jordan Pries has made three career appearances (two starts) against Fresno. In his two starts against the Grizzlies he has a 3.18 ERA (4ERx11.1IP) with no decisions recorded. His last home start against Fresno was on August 11, 2014, when he went 5.1 innings, allowing three runs on six hits.

WELCOME BACK: Grizzlies starting pitcher Brett Oberholtzer, on a rehab assignment, has made three career starts against the Rainiers, two of which came in Cheney Stadium. The Mariners No. 4 prospect is hitting .317 (26x82) with three doubles and seven RBI. His 82 at-bats are the fourth most in the league.
