Petitioners are asking the Court for an order permanently terminating the par- ent-child relationship between you and the child, permanently terminating all of your rights to the child and for a De- cree of Adoption declaring the Peti- tioners to be the legal parents of the child.

(A) The child was born on February 6, 2014 in Tacoma, Washington. The name of the child’s mother is Athena Fuller.

(B) The child was conceived on or about May 16, 2013, in the city, town or general area of Tacoma, Washing- ton.

In order to defend against this Peti- tion, you must respond to the Petition by stating your defense in writing and by serving a copy upon the attorney at the address below within twenty (20) days after the service of the Sum- mons, excluding the day of service, or within thirty (30) days (if service is made upon you outside the State of Washington), or a default order per- manently terminating your parent-child relationship with the child by default will be entered. A default order is one where the Petitioners are entitled to what they ask for because you have not responded. If you serve a notice of appearance on the attorney at the ad- dress below, you are entitled to notice before a default order may be entered.

You have the right to be represented by an attorney. If you are determined indigent and request an attorney, an attorney will be appointed for you. You have a right to file a claim of Paternity under chapter 26.26 of the Revised Code of Washington. Your failure to file a claim of Paternity under chapter 26.26 of the Revised Code of Wash- ington or to respond to the Petition for Termination of Parent-Child Relation- ship filed herein is grounds to termi- nate your parent-child relationship with respect to the child.

If the child is an Indian child as de- fined by the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978, 25 U.S.C. 1901 et seq., and if you acknowledge paternity of the child or if your paternity of the child is es- tablished prior to the termination of the parent-child relationship, your pa- rental rights may not be terminated un- less you give valid consent to termina- tion, or your parent-child relationship is terminated involuntarily pursuant to chapter 26.33 or 13.34 RCW.

The Court hearing on the Petition for Termination of Parent-Child relation- ship shall be on March 13, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. at the Pierce County Supe- rior Court, Juvenile Court, Remann Hall, 5506 Sixth Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98406.

YOUR FAILURE TO APPEAR AT THIS HEARING MAY RESULT IN A DEFAULT ORDER PERMANENTLY TERMINATING ALL OF YOUR RIGHTS TO THE ABOVE- NAMED CHILD.

DATED this 3rd day of February, 2015.
