The public art is located at Bay Terrace, a Tacoma Housing Authority property that offers 16 town homes, 54 apartment-style units, a 7,000-square-foot commu- nity/education center, and multi-purpose rooms for community programming. Tacoma Housing Authority hosted a grand-opening celebration in August to mark the completion of the project's first phase (see "Tacoma Housing Authority: Bay Terrace grand opening Aug. 25," Tacoma Daily Index, Aug. 8, 2014). Bay Terrace is a collaboration between the Tacoma Housing Author- ity, GGLO Architecture, and Absher Construction. In October, GGLO Architecture received an Excellence in Affordable Housing Award from the Tacoma Pierce County Affordable Housing Consortium for its work on the project (see "GGLO Architecture, MDC earn af- fordable housing awards," Tacoma Daily Index, Oct. 28, 2014) The artwork—"TransFORM" by Yuki Nakamura, and "Sea Branches & Pearls" by Diane Hansen and Jennifer Weddermann—aims to create a welcoming outdoor space just outside of the Bay Terrace Commu- nity Center, and respond to the concepts of community, security, and support. This opportunity is open to visual artists working in any medium, as long as the final artwork can be translated and digitally reproduced on a two- dimensional vinyl wrap. Up to 10 artists will be selected. Each artist will be paid $1,000 for an approved final design and licensing rights that will enable the City to reproduce the final design on multiple traffic signal and/or utility boxes. The City will be re- sponsible for printing and installation of the box wraps. The Traffic Box Wrap Project is designed to enhance the public realm by adding works of art by local artists to public infrastructure that is often targeted by vandalism. The wrapped boxes are intended to enhance neighborhood and com- munity identity, turn ordinary spaces into com- munity landmarks, and promote community dia- logue. This project is an extension of the Tacoma Murals Project, which has created 27 murals across Tacoma since 2010 in an effort to strategi- cally revitalize and beautify the city. The public art is located at Bay Terrace, a Tacoma Housing Authority property that offers 16 town homes, 54 apartment-style units, a 7,000-square-foot commu-nity/education center, and multi-purpose rooms for community programming. The City of Tacoma invites artists living within the of� cial city limits of Tacoma to sub-mit quali� cations to create an artwork design to be reproduced as a vinyl wrap and applied to traf� c signal boxes throughout the city. (j) The person(s) to whom this notice is given may have the right to contest the forfeiture or to seek an exten- sion of time to cure the default if the default does not involve a fail- ure to pay money, or both, by com- mencing a court action by filing and serving the summons and complaint before the Declaration of Forfeiture is recorded.

(l) The Seller is not required to give any person any other notice of de- fault before the declaration which completes the forfeiture is given.

Unless you notify this office within 30 days after receiving this notice that you dispute the validity of the debt or any portion thereof, this office will as- sume the debt is valid. If you notify this office within 30 days from receiving this notice, this office will obtain verifi- cation of the debt and mail you a copy of the verification. If you request this office in writing within 30 days after re- ceiving this notice, this office will pro- vide you with the name and address of the original seller, if different from the current seller.
