The Alastri Tactical Scheduler receives scheduling solids and reserves directly from the fastest open-pit reserving tool available, Rapid Reserver.
Tactical Scheduler’s database system makes it easy to organize scheduling solids into an interactive 3D scene with customizable reserves, intuitive visualization, and data reporting functionality.
HAULAGE INTEGRATION
Haul Infinity, the mining industry’s most advanced haulage software, is fully integrated into the Tactical Scheduler, which calculates haulage requirements from first principles.
Specify multiple loader and truck types, create logic to determine which loaders can load which trucks, and even limit production by the equipment available on site.
Create dynamic haulage rules which turn roads on or off based on scheduling criteria, such as the maximum tonnage across a road, finishing or starting a bench, completion of a land bridge, etc.
DESTINATION SCHEDULING AND BLENDING
Destination logic which specifies how material is extracted and where it is sent is fully configurable in a simple, easy to use, rule-driven interface.
Specify dump filling rules based on site-specific criteria, including minimizing haulage times, restricting acid risk material to certain areas, filling land bridges with priority, and more.
Specify grade targets, blend targets, stockpile/crusher capacities, and Tactical Scheduler will automatically allocate ore to destinations to ensure targets are met while adhering to mining rules and constraints.
There is no limitation on the number or type of processing options that can be modelled. For example, dynamically allocate material to a heap leach or a plant based on capacities and cutoffs.
SCHEDULING
Tactical Scheduler is driven by a scenario scheduling system that allows users to create branching scenarios that are automatically scheduled. This makes analyzing different options faster than ever before.
As the schedule is running, reports are provided in real time as each variable-duration period finishes. Additionally schedule outputs are provided alongside schedule inputs, making it easy for users to identify which constraints and targets are guiding the schedule.
Tactical Scheduler automatically interprets the types of time-based scheduling inputs required based on the setup of the model. For example, add in a new loader, and rows automatically appear allowing the user to input the number of units, availabilities, loading rates, etc. which can vary each period if required.
REPORTING
Each schedule and scenario is shown in a rich 3D interactive viewport with integrated animation, custom shading and labelling, and reserves in a single interface. Animations can be exported to video for easy communciation with stakeholders.
Reporting in Tactical Scheduler is a snap - the user merely states what they want to report, and the results are presented. Report the information needed without complex formulas. Customisable pivot tables, stockpile inventory reports, charts, and block sequence reports are all available.
Ever wonder why a particular block was not scheduled? With Tactical Scheduler, any available block that is not mined is reported with a full explanation of the reasons why the block was not selected for mining.
Tactical Scheduler contains advanced end-of-period surface generation algorithms, allowing stages plans which incorporate surrounding topography to be generated for each period and exported as trianglations for later analysis in Spatial Conformetrics or other software.
