ABOUT USThe International Taekwon-Do Academy is a high-quality sporting academy thatoffers an array of programs in martial arts, group fitness and self defense. Ourprograms are aimed at holistic development, promoting both health and fitness andcharacter development. We work with all students to meet their individual fitnessgoals and ensure that all students that attend our classes leave feeling healthier andhappier. Both our children and adult programs go beyond the skill of Taekwon-Do. Wepromote values of self-confidence, respect and discipline that persons can carry withthem throughout their life.

OUR INSTRUCTOR

Mr. Teran is an award-winning published author; fitness & a 7th degreeMA trainer, Bodybuilding and fitness apparel ambassador. Mr. Teran isalso a Marine Corps Combat Veteran who served in the U.S Marine Corpsfor several years before continuing his service with the U.S StateDepartment providing Diplomatic and close protection to past Presidentelect, Secretary of State(s), U.S Ambassadors, Prime Ministers and otherhigh level dignitaries in high threat for 10.5 years. Mr. Teran is a MarineCorps close combat instructor, Tri-State and All-American NationalChampion. Chief instructor for the U.S Marine Taekwon-Do team.Taekwon-Do Chief instructor for a Diplomatic program overseas underthe U.S Department of State. He is also an Ambassador for the AmericanMilitary University, providing guidance and training to veterans andother outreach programs like the Wounded Warrior Project.

OUR PROGRAMSAt The International Taekwon-Do Academy, we offer a variety of classes for bothadults and kids to meet the holistic health and developmental needs of all. We offerfour main programs: Kids Martial Arts, Adult Martial Arts, Group Fitness and SelfDefense.

We offer kids traditional teaching ofTaekwon-Do with focus on fitness,character development and improvedsocial skills. We hope that through thisprogram, kids are able to increase theirfitness levels, become more disciplined andenter into competitive and higher levels ofmartial arts. While our activities ofteninclude running, jumping and kicking, weensure that all students have fun at ourclasses.

Adults also have the opportunity to learnmartial arts and Taekwon-do at ouracademy through our adult martial artsclasses. Through this program, persons areable to lose weight and strengthen theirmind and body. We work with eachindividual to meet their fitness needs andensure that they are able to attainconfidence, self-discipline and self-defenseskills.

Our specialized group fitness classes arefor adults looking to improve their fitnessand lose weight or reach other fitnessgoals. These sessions provide students withsupport and motivation on their fitnessjourney and is offered in conjunction withmartial arts training. These sessions utilizemany military training activities andtechniques which are proven to lead toimproved fitness levels such as running,jogging and kick boxing.

At The International Taekwon-Do Academy,we also offer persons the opportunity tolearn to defend themselves while workingtowards their fitness goals. These classesteach students to stay safe while learningtargeted defense techniques foremergency situations. As dangerousencounters may happen to anyone, wetrain our students how to react to threatsquickly and effectively.
