The Quote Tag:

(Using tags, flowers, ink, stamps, dimensional foam and other cute trinkets and stuff).

1. Apply your choice of distress inks to two tags using a sponge applicator. I have used ‘Tattered Rose’.

2. Add a stamped image to one tag.

3. Print a quote or journaling on the other tag. Do this by creating the journaling in Word, making sure the

text block is smaller than the tag. Print on regular printer paper. Temporarily attach your second tag and

feed it back through the printer. Trim this tag down to become a smaller block which will be adhered to

the front of your tag. (See picture).

4. Finish decorating your quote tag by popping the quote higher using dimensional foam, adding flowers and

sparkles down the side and any trinkets on top.

The Vintage Tag

(Using paints, patterned papers, vintage images in papers, flowers, inks, lace, pins and other cute stuff)

Looks great on a card, as a piece of artwork, as an embellishment or looks super amazing as a little gift.

1. Prepare your tag by swiping white paint in the middle. Whether it’s crackle paint or normal paint, it

doesn’t matter. Just swipe across the middle without trying to make it perfect or reach all areas.

2. Find some vintage images in patterned papers. Cut them out and adhere on the front. I have used Prima

Romance Novel collection.

3. Add small titles, quotes or other items to the front of the tag. I personally love to wind lace, ribbons or

strings around the tag, add a button or pin or two and use it as a small gift tag.

The Photograph tag..

Possibilities open wide when we place a photograph on a tag. You can use any tag design, but adding a photo

makes it a super interesting photo mat or embellishment.

The Stamp and Embellish Tag: Could be used on a layout or a card, or as a small embellishment for mini album etc.

(Using tags, inks, water, stamping, patterned paper and flowers)

1. Use a large tag as your base. Colour all over with distress inks, I have used Tattered Rose for the centre and

Frayed Burlap around the edges.

2. Spray a small pool of water into the palmof your hand. Use the other hand to flick water on your tag. Dry

with a heatgun, you’ll see watermarks appear on your tag as it dries.

3. Repeat this process of inking, wetting with droplets and drying off until you are happy with the effect.

4. Apply a stamped image to your tag, keeping in mind where you may want any embellishing to go at the

bottom of the tag.

The “Let’s Go CRAZY!” tag A true playground for experimentaiton and fun. You can use the resulting tag anywhere – looks especially

great in a plain white frame on your mantlepiece or side table

1. Cover a plain tag with book paper. Don’t fuss, just rip and adhere layers until it’s covered.

2. Add some layers of washi tape (or patterned paper if you don’t have washi).

3. Trim around the edges and add a rough layer of white crackle paint over the top. Leave to dry.

4. Cut a red heart from cardstock, add clear crackle paint over the top and leave to dry.

5. Add some layers of brown ink around the edges.

6. Add washi tape and more book paper if you wish.

7. Add a layer of teal paint. Leave to dry.

8. Add some rough layers of white paint and leave to dry.

9. Add some final layers of brown ink, pushing into the cracks/layers and making it darker around the edge of

the tag than in the middle.

10. Add ink to your heart, add white paint too!

11. Embellish your tag with resin pieces, ribbons, alphas and other bits and pieces to finish..
