GraemeAs I am sure those that have ever spoken to me will have noticed the accent and possible mistaken it for Australian?? But no, I am South African born and bred. South Africa has plenty to offer: game drives trying to spot the illusive big 5, perhaps a round of golf or two, even an Ostrich ride, deep sea fishing, shark cage diving, wine tasting, whale spotting, mountain biking, sand boarding, hiking.Anna

When I was living in Thailand I had the opportunity to compete in an adventure race. Cambodia is a beautiful country and I travelled to Siem Reap to take part.

EveI went to New York and it was by far one of the best trips I have ever done. As soon as you arrive in the big apple the excitement and buzz of the city hits you straight away. The Empire State building - Amazing! The views are sensational and just so bizarre to see the yellow cabs as small as ants below. Central Park - stumbling across the park in such a busy built up city is surreal but very beautiful.

SimonI really do go on about it but South America is such a fantastic continent to visit, I have been a few times myself and love it. I have been on a South American Sojourn all my life, I love the continent from Caracas in the North to Punta Arenas in the South, It is truly spectacular.

Bosphorus Cruise, Dolmabahce Palace and 2 Continents Tour

Take a Bosphorus Cruise, the waterway separating the two continents of Europe and Asia, and enjoy the wonder of Istanbul as you sail by. Visit the remarkable Dolmabahce Palace, the recent residence for Ottoman Sultans built by two Ottoman architects Karabet and Nikogos Balyan on a 110,000m2 area composed of three sections; Selamlik allocated for state issues, the Harem (Seraglio) area designated for the private life of the sultan and his family, and the Parade Hall, the study and bedroom of Ataturk. Famous for its great collection of European antiquity, furniture and 4.5 tonne chandelier, this palace also has 285 rooms and 46 halls! You will also cross the Bosphorus bridge, a unique chance to step from one continent (Europe) to another (Asia) in 2 minutes. Also visit Camlica Hill or Yeditepe, exposing a panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus from the best view point. Lunch will be served at a Turkish Restaurant.

Monaco Grand Prix

Every spring, sports car fans from around the globe descend on the Principality of Monaco to witness the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. It is the one race of the year that every driver dreams of winning. Like the Indy 500 or Le Mans, it stands alone, almost distinct from the sport from which it was born. Spectators delight in the raucous noise of the roaring engines as they speed along the Boulevard Albert 1er up toward the Casino and around the hairpin turn in front of the Fairmont Monte Carlo. Overtaking is next to impossible so qualifying in Monaco is more critical than at any other Grand Prix. The Portier corner is key to achieving a good lap time around Monaco. It is preceded by the Loews hairpin, the slowest corner in Formula One, and followed by the tunnel, one of the few fl at-out sections of the track. Some great names have ended their races in the barriers here, most notably Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher.

The beautiful towns and cities which stand along the mysterious Black Sea coast assure a voyage of extreme beauty and a mosaic of fascinating cultures and history. Quaint towns with cosy squares and markets offering delicious local produce stand alongside thronging cities, golden sand beaches and luscious forest and mountain backdrops. Very few ships venture into these waters, yet itineraries focusing on the Black Sea are immensly popular and should not be missed. An added bonus to this particular holiday is that you will cruise on intimate and elegant Azzamara Journey; a ship small enough to get right into the very heart of your destination. Azamara Club Cruises offer a relaxed , yet luxurious ‘country club’ feel on board and a ‘more inclusive’ package, meaning you get more for your money.

Celebrate the American way

Independence Day is annually celebrated on July 4 and is often known as “the Fourth of July”. It is the anniversary of the publication of the declaration of independence from Great Britain in 1776. It is a day of revelry, of fi reworks and parades, of barbecues and carnivals - in short, of all things American. People travel to New York City for the Fourth of July for many reasons - some to be with family, others to watch the awe-inspiring Macy’s 4th of July Firewords Show.

Each year on the Fourth of July, millions of revelers journey to the banks of the Hudson River in NYC to watch the Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show. At this stunning NYC event, fi rst held in 1958, six barges will launch 40,000 fi reworks over 1,000 feet in the air as smaller boats blast water jets of red, white, and blue.

Review submitted at www.cruise.co.uk by: Huntley, Gravesend on 23rd April 2012

What a fantastic holiday we had. The group of 22 people who met at Beijing really jelled which made our cruise even better as there was always someone to

chat to. The China part of the holiday was excellent-nothing was too much trouble for the tour operator. The national guide Cynthia, and the local guides Jason, Beijing and Arran in Xian all spoke excellent English and were very informative. Strangely the day in Beijing most of us thought the best was the visit to the park for our Tai Chi lesson and to watch all the locals enjoy keep fi t sessions.

From the expansive Underwater World Langkawi along Pantai Cenang to the soaring Cable Car in Pantai Kok, Langkawi is an electrifying locale that keeps visitors coming back for more.

Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur has transformed over the last few decades into a thriving metropolis with spectacular architecture ranging from Menara KL to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers – the second-highest buildings in the world. Boasting some of Southeast Asia’s largest shopping malls and a colourful jumble of street markets, Kuala Lumpur is a retail paradise. Unlike many Asian cities, KL has retained a majority of its historical buildings and features numerous tranquil spots within the city centre itself including the lush green lung of Lake Gardens and the greenery of Tasik Titiwangsa. The city’s landscape is a blend of modernity and traditional charm, with hawker stalls and pre-war shop-houses alongside skyscrapers and sophisticated buildings. To put it briefl y Kuala Lumpur is a gateway to a truly multihued Asian experience.

In this park, explore the grounds, the temples and the world’s longest art gallery. You will break up the busy day with a scenic bus ride plus an unbeatable shopping experience at the Pearl Market.

World Wonders Tour

This excursion combines two of the most popular destinations north of Beijing making one unforgettable tour. The fi rst stop is to the sacred Ming Tombs.
