Taking Care of Yourself with Aloe & Amla
Exactly what is Amla? Amla is a deciduous tree, meaning it loses it leaves every autumn then sprouts
new leaf buds in the spring. This tree is considered sacred by Hindus because they believe the Vishnu
dwells and lives within the tree. Amla is most popular in Asia, but it has becoming well-known
worldwide in recent years. The Amla tree bears a sour-tasting fruit that can be used for hair oils,
shampoos, most inks and a variety of medicinal use as an Amla powder and used in part in the making of
triphala powder. However, Amla is mainly consumed and used to make Amla Juice and Amla candy, both
of which are much loved and becoming quite popular among the younger generation.
Aloe, much more common than Amla, can also benefit ones health. We all know that Aloe Vera is
awesome for treating sunburn, itchiness and dry skin but it can do so much more...but what? Well,
there's Aloe Vera Juice. For many throughout the world in the past, mostly in the West, it was not widely
known that Aloe Vera can also be taken internally; let alone be beneficially healthy as well. Mixing the
correct amount of triphala powder with a glass of Aloe Vera Juice (or Amla Juice) can greatly improve
your body cleanse itself free of toxins.
Both Aloe Vera Juice and Amla Juice is said to help slow the aging process by warding off grey hair and
wrinkles, not to mention absolutely delicious. There is also an Aloe Vera fairness gel that is just used for
the face that also helps keep wrinkles at bay. Any Aloe Vera fairness gel to help maintain radiant skin
comes highly recommended for daily use. As always, check with your physician before starting a remedy
with Aloe Vera, Amla powder or triphala powder. Especially, read the contents of an Aloe Vera fairness
gel (and ALL products) before purchase to be sure that there isn't anything you may find harmful.
The people of India, China and other Asian countries use "all natural" products much more than others
throughout the world. Although western medicine does not agree with practically most of eastern
medical techniques and procedures, the proof is right before your eyes and the final decision is always
yours. Take the time to read any (if not all) the information there is available. The positive effects far
outweigh those who claim to have no effects. Just like eastern medicine negative effects are slim,
usually mild and not uncommon.
