RED RIBBON WEEK—NOV. 3-7, 2014 “LOVE YOURSELF; BE DRUG-FREE!”

In conjunction with other schools in our county, along with our Sherriff’s Department, the Lambert school is celebrating Red Ribbon Week as follows: Friday, Oct 31: Scare the Competition; Scare Away Drug Use!

~Wear Halloween costumes today, as approved by your classroom teachers

~PRIDE activity during 3rd period today for all K-6 students and 7-12 PRIDE members.

Monday, Nov 3: Shade out Drugs; We are “Sweet” on a Healthy Lifestyle! ~Wear sunglasses in school today

~Enjoy an ice cream cone @ lunch today, compliments of the Lambert Student Council

Tuesday, Nov 4: Don’t be Sleepy; Drugs are creepy! ~Wear PJ’s to school today

Wednesday, Nov 5: Snap out Drugs! ~Wear your snap bracelets today, in order to be eligible for an AWESOME drawing. Today, there

will be a drawing at each school in Richland County. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR BRACELET ON, as the

drawing will be at a random time during the school day, and will correspond with the number on

your bracelet. If your name is drawn (one from each school), you will receive a set of Love Your

self, Be Drug-Free ear buds, and a Machspeed Eclipse 8 GB MP3 player, along with….A LIMO RIDE

TO LUNCH IN SIDNEY WITH THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AND OTHER STUDENTS!

~9th-10th grade Public Service Announcements (on video) during lunch today

Friday, Nov 7: Socking it to Drugs! ~Wear CRAZY and/or RED socks

~7th-8th grade radio announcement (through inter-com) right after the morning announcements.
