What is TAM - a quick summary Delivering Excellence

Team Action Management™ is:

A dynamic and proven management system

A repeatable robust and auditable framework for consistency

A massive enhancer of staff engagement

A cultural platform upon which performance is built

A deliverer of greater performance, profit and a unifying vision

Making “change” part of the plan

What Problems Does It Solve? Delivering Excellence

Where people meet change When Organisations are merged or reorganised When performance is needed – fast When people are the biggest factor for business success When multiple “initiatives” need to give way to a common robust and joined up approach

How is TAM™ Installed? Delivering Excellence

Rules based, psychology driven framework for delivery:

Element 1 - Define and vision your planned or imposed change

Element 2 - Help your Management Teams embrace change

Element 3 - How to Include your Staff and Stakeholders

Element 4 - Create your strategic Change Plan

Then - do the work, measure the impact, communicate back

Making “change” part of the plan

How is TAM™ Installed? Delivering Excellence

Element 1 - Define and vision your planned or imposed change

Creation of a “Change announcement”

This will clearly link to the KPI’s and future vision of arvato It will be sent out to ALL staff and extension stakeholders It will need to be referred to often and in multi channel format It will need to be signed and supported by the CEO It will be aspirational and motivational but will tie into the

business plan of arvato

How is TAM™ Installed? Delivering Excellence

Element 2 - Help your Management Teams embrace change

A series of four workshops are offered **Leading ChangeFinance for non finance managersEstimating and project planningOrganisational design and performance

Two things happen: a common learning and discussion platform happens: the team gel into a single voice willing to discuss and share information

**Note that arvato are currently electing to run Leading Change workshop only

Internal Processes

I believe that a number of the cost issues we have as a company stem from poor design and implementation of our internal processes and controls. This leads to inefficiency, waste and increased costs. If we could standardise our internal processes and bring them into line with industry best practises we could improve our efficiency and reduce costs.

Overtime throughout the business is not forecast, or at least the forecast is not relayed to the accounts department. This means that if in a month or week a lot of extra overtime is worked, the accounts department do not have chance to plan for the extra spend this creates and as a consequence we may hit cash flow problems.

An interdepartmental project team could be set up to look specifically at the internal processes of the company as a whole and to suggest ideas and plans to move these towards best practise therefore reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

communications

Communication is poor

Management reports on a monthly basis, there is no structure as to how these are reported, information is not fed back to managers on what reports have been submitted, nothing for November? everything again is last minute with no set dates as to when information is required. reporting mechanism for KPI's has not been set up in a standard report formathave clear dates as to when reports are due so they can be programmed in and also have a set format for the report and KPI's, these should once completed be sent to section managers.
