Dear Parents,

In order for students to be successful in school, they must report to school on a

daily basis with the proper supplies to facilitate learning. Please carefully review

the WPE 2018-2019 School Supply Lists as there are specific lists for

Discovery/Gifted, EFL, General Ed., etc. and ensure your child reports to school

with the requested supplies each day. When purchasing supplies, keep in mind

that rolling bookbags are prohibited at Whispering Pines Elementary School.

All Kindergarten-5th grade students are required to purchase a supplemental

Wordly Wise 3000/4th Edition Student Workbook. This book may be purchased

locally at the Get Smart School Supply store located at 8824 SW 131st Street,

Miami, Florida 33176, Barnes & Noble Bookstores, or online via Amazon. When

purchasing the Wordly Wise Student Workbook, make certain to purchase the

4th Edition of the grade level that corresponds to the grade level your child will

be entering during the 2018-2019 school year.
