NOTIFICATION CALLING FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF PRESIDENTS

IN VARIOUS DISTRICT CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL FORA IN TAMIL NADU

Applications are invited for appointment to the post of Presidents in various District

Consumer Disoutes Fora in the State of Tamil Nadu to be made bv direct recruitment under

Section 10 (1) (a) of Consumer Protection Act 1986.

(i) Retired District Judges on superannuation.(As per Guidelines issued by the Hon'bleNational Commission, New Delhi)

(ii) a person who is, or has been, or isqualified to be a District Judge

(i) Retired District Judges must be below theage of 65 years on the date of appointmentas President.

(ii) In case of Advocates, he/she must nothave completed 45 years as on 1.1 .2017

Term of office will be 5 years from the date ofassumption of office or up to the age of 65years whichever is earlier

(vii) Retired District Judges Last paydrawn minus Dension.

(viii) ln case of Advocates.As Der Rule-3 of Tamil NaduConsumer Protection Rules,1988.
