** The tenderer Quoting more than one equipment, the Multiple EMD amounts would be taken in the

form of ONE EMD for the Total Amount.

1.) The Tender notice and Tender documents will be available free of cost and the tenderer can download in

the Government website www.tntenders.gov.in from06.06.2019, 11:30AM onwards

2.) Tender opening date &time: INDICATED in COLUMN No.4.

3.) The Tender notice is also available in v.,ww.tanuvas.ac .in and http ://tntenders.gov.in

4.) Tenders must be submitted through online up to 11 :30 AM (As per Server Clock) on the last date

mentioned in column 5. Tenders received through online shall be opened at 3:00PM (As per server clock)

on the opening date as per column 4 in the office of the Director, Centre for Animal Health Studies, Tamil

Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University , Madhavaram Milk Colony, Chennai-51. If the date of

opening happens to be a holiday , the tenders will be opened on the next working day at the same time and

venue. 5.) The tenders received will be opened through online by the Director, CAHS, T ANUV AS, Chennai, onthe

dates indicated in column No.4 on the tender date as noted in as per server time in the presence of the bidders

or their authorized representatives who choose to be present.

6.) The EMD amount should be the exact amount and no excess or less amotmt should be submitted in the forr:n

of DD (Softcopy and hard copy). If excess or short, the tender status will be shown as invalid. And the

Unsuccessful tenderers EMO will be refundable to the tenderers within 90 days from date of receipt of

tender or after the final process of the tender whichever is earlier.

8.) Tenders which are not digitally signed will not be accepted.

9.) Each bidder shall submit only one Bid, either individually, or as a partner in a partnership firm or a partner

in a Joint Venture or a public limited firm. A Bidder who submits or participants in more than one Bid (other

than as a sub-contractor or in cases of alternatives that have been permitted or requested) will cause all the

proposals with the Bidder' s participation to be disqualified.

CONDITIONS FOR TENDER DOCUMENTS:

1.) Tenders which are not digitally signed will not be accepted.

2.) Subsequent corrigendum/addendum if any shall only be available in website indicated above.

3.) The Director, CAHS has the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons.

4.) Other details can be seen in the tender documents. The Tender Inviting Authority shall not be held liable for any

delays due to system failure which is beyond its control. Even though the system will attempt to notify the

bidders of any tender update, the Tender Inviting Authority shall not be liable for any information not received

by the bidder. It is the bidders' responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to the

tenders. 5.) No bidder is permitted to withdraw his/their tender at any stage. If any bidder withdraws his/their offer within

,the tender validity period his/their EMD/SD shall be forfeited and his/their name(s) will be recommended for

black listing. 6.) The Bidder should upload only the necessary documents required in the tender documents.

7.) The bidders have to accept the on-line user portal agreement which contains the acceptance of the all the Terms

and Conditions of NIC and tender document, undertaking and the e-Procurement system through

https:tntenders.gov.in in order to become an eligible bidder. This will be a part of the agreement.

8.) Price adjustment clause is not operable for this contract and this is fixed rate contract and. the quoted an1ount

should remain ' FIRM ' during the ent.ire period of completion of work. No cost escalation clause is applicable to

this tender. 9.) Further particulars may be obtained at the office of the Director, CAHS, T ANUV AS, Chennai- 600 051 on any

working day during office hours. NOTE:

1.) The tenderer should be registered with OST.

2.) The total value of a contract which exceeds Rs.2 .50 Lakhs I.T @2.2% TDS Source will be deducted.

3.) The tenderer shall quote the rates and prices (both in figures and words) fqr all the items of the works described

in the Bill of Quantities including OST.
